Let's address the Ants, instead of the Elephant in the room.

Hello and good day to fellow readers,

As the title says, yes we are going to address the ant in the room instead of the elephant.

Is the world that we currently living in right now is as what we expected? In the past 20 years or so, we have been predicting the end of the world. That could be very much being noticed by how many movies about the world ending since the beginning of the year the '90s. The movie titled 2012 itself is the predicted year of when it is going to happen. Not to be a letdown, it's already 2021. And for eons to come, the human is still going to inhabit the earth. Like it or not, we are here to stay Mayans!

Well, end of world or apocalypse aside, we also predicted that there are going to be a better form of transportations, better agriculture methodology, cleaner heavy industries, better health rate, and rainbows. Maybe some of the after-mention items have already begun to be developed, but it is also true some instead of being better, are declining in quality. For example, in 2020's Coronavirus and the increment of death rate caused by both indirectly and directly by coronavirus.

Yes, those are the elephants. Let's go over the question again. Is the world that we currently living in right now is as what we have been expecting? Short answer and I am sure most of you would agree, No. Not at all. Bless your soul if you truly believe that it has been happening as you predicted.

Let me list the items that you "might" not expected to happen in 2020&2021 together:

  1. Travel restrictions due to pandemic

  2. Well, the pandemic itself

  3. Trump loses the election, and when he did loses the election he will bring everyone down with him.

  4. Capitol riot

  5. The adoption of cryptocurrency into hedge fund management

  6. Sex and the City Revamp.

As you can see, the list goes on and on. If you are reading this, ignore the 6th item. Although it never goes the way we predicted, in life and planning, life never waits for no wise men. Taking cryptocurrency as the pinnacle of change, striving or not, but I like to think it always stays on point. To decentralize the market. To actually shift the power to the public instead of control.

So what if life does not goes the way you wanted it to be. Life is a long journey towards an unknown adventure. Let us take a moment, and reflect back on our journey to this place today. Not long ago, we are not being rewarded for things that we do almost every day. With websites like read.cash and publish0x, we are being rewarded to read. Social media sites like Torum, memo.cash, noise.cash reward you with a bounty for exploring around their website. Games like Sandbox, Prospectors, and many more gave you a chance to earn money by playing their games. Although there are some other games really do gave you chance to earn without any investment. For example Bitcoin bounce and rollercoin.

And the list goes on and on. Although it may not seem like it, in a very short span of time we are here in this place where earning online become more viable, apparent, and most importantly a necessity. An age where working from home is no longer sound like a weird thing that only losers do, but a success.

In the next 10 years to come, how else do you think our life would change? Good or bad, just leave it to your imagination. Again, that's not the important part. It matters the most if we could strive to be better every single day.

Signing off,

Cryptoluke
