Norse mythology is the body of myths stemming from Norse paganism and continuing after the Christianization of Scandinavia, and into the Scandinavian folklore of the modern period. Norse mythology consists of tales of various deities, beings, and heroes derived from numerous sources from both before and after the pagan period. Some of the deities consisted of Gods and some of the beings consisted of Titans.

Attack on Titan , is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. It is set in a world where humanity lives inside cities surrounded by enormous walls that protect them from gigantic man-eating humanoids, known as Titans; the story follows Eren Yeager, who vows to exterminate the Titans after a Titan brings about the destruction of his hometown and the death of his mother.

The creator of Attack on Titan surely was inspired by Norse mythology. Also, he has noted in his past that he was inspired by the figure of a titan and its movement, when he would notice people in his community walking around as they left street-bars and clubs in the middle of the night in the big city.

Fans have theorized that the inspiration from Norse mythology might bring in future clues to where the story might be headed, but it is all speculative at the moment.
