Finally! 4 hours ago the kidney transplant was a success! The mother (my friend) is recuperating well despite the post surgery pain; but her daughter is now in the most crucial 24-48 hours time in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) where her body needs to adjust to the new kidney as both her current kidneys no longer functioning. We are all praying that she will recuperate well the next 24-48 hours. No infection and no rejection of her mother's kidney.
