Hey everyone, just heard from Digital Asset News of 2 not good news today:
Ledger Wallet CEO is avoiding the database leak allegations of its Customers. Ledger customer information database is compromised and customers are exposed to scammers to attack.
I was actually wanting to purchase a ledger Nano X when it was promoting so widely during Black Friday; however SafePal hardware wallet actually was more alluring in terms of more affordable wallet at the same time cheaper (or free if bought 2) shipping fee.
Now I actually feel that it was a blessing in disguise that I didn't acquire a Ledger Nano even though it was offering a really interesting staking feature straight from the wallet; which right now doesn't sound so cool anymore.
Coinbase seems to be in trouble of late. Even though I did mention to one of the newbies to use coinbase because it still allows mini transfers from games like Bitcoin Blast (legit game) that probably only get you 430 satoshi if you played daily around 30 rounds of games.
I actually used CoinBase as far back as 2013, and I am pretty sad that people are freaking out with so many problems by regulators and recently a lot of people mentioned that they were locked out from CoinBase out of no apparent reason; and crypto gurus like Dan from Digital Asset News actually advised to move out any assets that is not for trading (especially the US).

I am pretty disappointed that this is happening to CoinBase where it was one of the first wallets that was most user friendly for years, but right now it seems a lot worse.
No to mention the Network Fees are now close to 0.98 cents USD per transaction for Coinbase. So far I tested $2.26 USD and $100 USD. The fee is the same.
Yes, another thing is that if it is not within the same coinbase wallet network, it has to be minimum 0.0001 BTC.
Definitely not a friendly transfer for dollar cost average.
Will I continue to use CoinBase?
Well, most of the transfer is around 20 - 40 minutes now even for LTC; however it is still very friendly almost seamless for games. I think this has something to do that the game makers might be using coinbase wallet as well, therefore the transaction is equally seamless and network fee FREE.
However I will probably have to save up until around 10 USD before I can do anything about it. Sigh.
So what about you?
Were you one of those who used CoinBase for a long time and suddenly locked out from access and services?
