This article is been written by a heart in pain. The word racism I thought was already gone from this world but only for it to reappear again in such a very strong form. So recently I heard about a man named Floyd who is a black America that was killed or should I say murder by a group of police officers in the U.S for absolutely no reason.
When I came in contact with the news and video tape caught by CCTV of the police officer kneeling in the Man's chest and telling him to stay down while he was crying out and gasping for air breath saying I can't breath... Tears rolled down my cheek. What did he do to deserve this. Did he create himself? Did he choose to have a black skin? Is it now a crime to be different?
This is so painful, I am a Nigerian but after seeing this news I lost interest in ever wanting to visit the U.S. The part that hurts more is that after all the evidence provided the u.s government are still protecting the individuals who murdered this black American. Imagine if this had happened to a white, would it also be treated in the same way? It's truely is painful... Imagine he just died leaving his child and wife stranded.
I believe and hope that someday just someday we would stop judging ourselves as human beings the colors of their skin but by the content of our character.
Answer This Again!
Did you create yourself?
Did you choose the color of your skin?
Did you choose what family you would be born into?
Did you make yourself grow?
Please love everyone around you irrespective of who you or that person might be. Love is the key.
This is lovely. Many blacks in the US and some other countries are being treated badly. Am even sure those police officers that kill these blacks get little purnishments
