Why have we met a certain person in our lives?

Sometimes we ask ourselves why we have met a certain person in our lives. The answer is hidden in time.

Not until we grow old enough to absorb it.

God sends us our soul mate when we are ready to meet them.

Whether it be a friend or a partner doesn't matter - it's someone we can only appreciate when we have reached a certain level of spiritual growth.

As much as we would like to believe that we hold our destiny in our own hands, this is not quite true. We have our will and we make our choices, but there is a higher power in the universe that governs all affairs.

Until we cleanse our soul of old wounds, old hurts and old disappointments, we cannot be ready to experience new joy, to accept and appreciate new happiness.

If we have not yet received something we deeply desire, it is because we are not ready for it. Often people come into our lives who teach us valuable lessons. They help us improve until we reach that spiritual level where we can accept our soul mate.

The trials that we think take us away from our goal actually bring us closer to it.

We are who we are because of all we experience and learn along the way. If it is straight and without any obstacles, we cannot change until we reach the end of it. However, if the path is winding and offers its own obstacles to challenge us to think and evolve, then we will transcend ourselves, multiply our life experiences, change, and at the end of that path be a much better version of ourselves.

So keep your head on straight and take your time. Sooner or later what you dream of will happen, but until then - prepare your heart for it.
