The monument of Vasil Levski - is located in the square "Vasil Levski" in Karlovo, between the churches "St. Nicholas" and "Assumption of the Virgin Mary".

It was built between May 15, 1903, when the foundation stone was laid in the presence of Prince Ferdinand, and 1907, according to the project of the sculptor Marin Vassilev. The statue of Vasil Levski depicts him full-length with a revolver in his hand, and next to him is a roaring lion, symbolizing the people. At the bottom of the monument are inscribed the names of the inhabitants of Karlovo who died in the struggle for the liberation of Bulgaria in July and August 1877. In the lower part of the pedestal there are 3 reliefs - "The Establishment of the Revolutionary Committee", "The Taking of Levski" and "The Removal of the Karlovo Insurgents from the Konak".

Karlovsky Waterfall (until 29 June 1942 Karlovsky Suchurum; due to ignorance of government documents, on 1 February 1989 Karlovsky Suchurum was renamed Waterfall, also called simply Suchurum, is a waterfall at the foot of the southern slope of the Middle Stara Planina Mountains.

It is located on the Stara River at its entrance into Karlovo. The height of the waterfall is about 8 m. The waterfall is situated at 480 m above sea level. Immediately below it is the Levski hydroelectric power plant, and beyond it is the northernmost park of the town.

A wonderful place from the nature of Bulgaria...steps from the center of Karlovo, the city of Levski .

An alley and a well-kept park next to the waterfall itself,at the same time in the wilderness and in the city.A natural attraction , which is a favorite place of the residents and guests of the Balkan town.

A must visit for every true Bulgarian and patriot
