True story time! Whenever I think about the day that I was almost kidnapped I always laughed π okay so this happened back in elementary school. It was on Saturday and we were at school practicing for our graduation ceremony. My mom wasn't with me that day because I was learning on going home on my own. When the practice was over it was lunch time and I was actually with two of my classmates just walking at the side of the street to go to one of our classmates mom so we can have lunch at her office. While we were walking one nonregistered tricycle stopped and called to us. The man was pointing at me and said "Hey, kid! You're mom sent me to pick you up!" (But it was in tagalog) I was actually hesitant to go with him like I want to go but I also don't because: number 1: I DIDN'T KNOW HIM number 2: THE TRICYCLE WASN'T REGISTERED AND HIS TRICYCLE WASN'T COLORED number 3: I ACTUALLY ALMOST BELIEVED HIM BECAUSE SOMETIMES MY MOM DOES SEND SOMEONE TO GET ME AT SCHOOL BUT IT WOULD BE SOMEONE WE WOULD KNOW AND SHE WOULD TELL ME IN ADVANCED. Luckily, one of my classmates asked me if I know the guy and I said no and she then said to the driver "We actually have somewhere to go" and we then walked faster and went somewhere he wouldn't follow us. After we got to her mom's office we actually got rid of the guy and then ate our lunch, me and my other classmate then bid farewell to her and her mom and the two of us then separated in directions to go to our separate homes. When I finally got home I then told what had happened to me to my mom and she said that she didn't send anyone to pick me up and she thanked that I didn't believe the person that day. I still do think about on what if I actually believed the person and they'd then find my dead body on an empty lot somewhere lol
