Dogecoin: The Future

At its core, Dogecoin is the unintentional crypto movement that makes people happy! It is also an opensource peer-to-peer cryptocurrency that makes use of blockchain technology, which is a highly secure decentralized way of storing information as a public ledger maintained by a network of computers known as nodes. More than this, though, is the Dogecoin ethos, as encapsulated in the Dogecoin Manifesto, and its great, lively community made up of friendly people just like you!

Dogecoin is no laughing matter. True, it originated as a joke and still maintains its LOL attitude - but it is much more to millions of people. "Dogecoin started as a joke, but we're no longer simply kidding," I usually tell individuals who say Dogecoin is a joke. We have the same strong technical principles as Bitcoin, but with far superior characteristics that make much more sense as a global currency for everyday usage. People who can't look beyond the 'funny dog' logo as their major point of critique are either lazy researchers or too engaged in the previous system to be honest about the facts.
