In Barangay Santo Dominggo there was once lived a very rich Family. There house is the biggest Mansion ever in the whole Barangay.
All people praises and envy their wealth and richness. They are all carefree and always went on shopping buying expensive clothes. Eating at a very expensive high end restaurants and five star hotels.
Nobody noticed the Poor Family living at Ilang-Ilang Street. Just at the back of the Great Mansion of the Rich Family.
They are a Family of four The Husband and Wife together with their two daughters.
Their House is very small. The wall is broken and have a hole. It is made up of broken pieces of wood joint together. There roof has a hole too whenever there is a rain water will get inside their house.
The rich Family's children Study at the very prestigious expensive School in the City. They have a nice car and all the latest gadgets to use that can help their Studying.
The daughters of the Poor Family are Studying at the nearest Public School. They will just walk from home. As they have no car. They are always in the library to research as they don't have internet in their home.
The rich Family are all bad tempered. They will easily get angry and throw tantrums on their maids. No maid will last long because of their bad attitude. They always replace maid every week.
They are lazy like a pig and didn't know any household chores. They always depend on their maids.
The Poor Family are very kind and responsible they are loved by their neighbors. They don't have any maids and just helping each other to do the household chores.
The rich Family are always spending money on Tours and vacation in all parts of the world. They always visit all the Famous Tourist spots and enjoy Traveling.
The poor Family are happy and contented being together in their small house. As long as they are healthy and nobody in the Family is sick.
The Husband of the Poor Family decided to ask help in the government for their house as their is a typhoon coming in the country. It's a Super Typhoon.
He is very worried as their house is very small and the roof has a hole. The wall is not in a good condition too. Luckily he received help and was given a money to repair their poor house.
He was very happy going Home and spread the good news to his beloved family. Aside from that he has given a permanent job.
The money he received was spent for the renovation of their house.
Because They are very kind, many neighbors voluntarily help in repairing their house for free and no salary.
As the money is not that big the house is still small but the roof and the wall are all new and very beautiful.
They are all happy seeing their house was finally repaired.
Meanwhile the Rich Husband was tempted in playing Casino with his rich Friends.
He always win and bring lots of money in his Family. Until one day he lost all his money. Including the land title of their house.
All the land that they buy and own was also lost. All the Cars was lost in betting too. Nothing was left except the clothes that they wear and some of their personal jewelries.
The Rich Husband's Company also collapse and totally bankrupt. They don't have a single penny savings in the Bank.
The wife did not save any money at all as she is busy buying make ups and other Beauty Products for her skin care maintenance. Busy Traveling and spending money.
They never thought that in a blink of an eye they will lose all of their richness and wealth.
They sell their jewelries and buy a new house in Ilang-Ilang Street just in front of the Poor Family's house.
As they can't afford anymore to buy an expensive house they select an average one.
But still they are spending all the money that they get from pawning their jewelry.
Old habits are really hard to change.
One week later the Typhoon has entered the Country. Everybody are well prepared. The poor Family has stock a Sack of rice and other foods that will last for a week. The Poor Wife is very wise she managed to divide the money for repairing their house and keep also for foods and other necessity needs.
It's a Super Typhoon. So they are very worried of their small house. Good thing it's already repaired and well built.
At the house of the Rich Family they are very noisy quarrelling on who will do the household chores.
The Rich wife will never cooked as she don't know how while the daughters will not do the laundry and wash the plates afraid for their manicure to get wet.
They didn't even go on grocery and prepared for the coming of the Super Typhoon. Well, how would they know if they didn't bother watching the news.
The Rich Husband is a total mess. Still in shock that they've lost all their wealth.
Their house is in total chaos.
Evening came, the rain is pouring very hard. The trees are swaying asking for help as they are blew by the strong wind.
The Super Typhoon has finally arrived causing floods, flying roofs and debris are everywhere.
The poor family are praying together worried for their small house. Then in the the middle of the Super Typhoon they heard a loud Bang of sound as if their is an earthquake.
The Poor Husband open the window to check what is happening outside and to his surprise The Rich Family's House is the one who collapsed!
The Rich Family was caught by surprise. They run Faraway From their house.
It totally collapsed due to the heavy rain and they didn't know that they are scam. They buy a damage and old house. The only new was the paint.
They are very wet and cold having shelter under the old tree. The wife shouted for help. But nobody open their door for them.
The people in their Barangay don't like the Rich Family because for how many times they've ask help for them. But the Rich Family will just ignore and won't listen.
Feeling of cold, hunger and totally hopeless. The Rich Family cried in tears. Nobody help them and that's their Karma for being so selfish, self centered and for wasting their money that results into nothing.
The Poor Wife can't bear to see the situation. She is always have a good heart. She told her husband to get an umbrella and invite the Rich Family on their house.
The Rich Family is very cold sitting at the corner of the Poor Family. The Poor Wife is cooking a chicken soup for the visitors.
The Rich Family felt very ashamed not just on their situation but also for their self. They look around at the small house of the Poor Family.
Everything is warm eventhough the house is small but the people are contented, happy and love their Family. The thing that there family don't have.
The soup is cook and ready to served. As long as the soup touches and warm their cold stomach tears fall down in the eyes of the Rich Family.
