Yesterday I'm scrolling on FB and saw a heartbreaking news. It is really sad and can break your heart especially all the mothers and wives out there.
Let me share with you what is this news...
Father and daughter were found dead during the typhoon Rolly in Virac Catanduanes. Leaving 90% damage to infrastructure. 5 found dead and almost two thousand residents are affected. And sad to say one of the dead was the Father and Daughter.
The City already asked for help from the Government because they don't have any savings and aside from the damage of the typhoon, we are in the middle of a Pandemic too.
Liwayway Jacob(wife) lost her husband and daughter because of typhoon Rolly.
His husband Mario Jacob the breadwinner of the family and eldest daughter Mecaella Jacob which is running for cum laude in College did not able to come back alive.
They came back running in their house in the middle of typhoon Rolly to save Mecaella's laptop, modules, and other important things that are used for school. Their house is near the river.
Liwayway was very nervous and in panic, after looking at the time that it's four o clock dawn yet her husband and daughter were still not coming back.
She is very devastated and shocked hearing the news that his husband and daughter were already dead. As if she was hit by a stone right from her heart.
She was saved together with her two other children because they evacuated early before the coming of typhoon Rolly.
Liwayway(wife) is grieving for the loss of her husband and daughter. She is very sad that they left her in pain. It's too sudden that it broke her heart so much. Asking herself "Why did they leave me?" And at the same time, she feels at ease because her husband never left her daughter till the very last moment, they are together.
Their dead bodies were found in the river just a few minutes away from their house. Micaela was still holding her modules.
This is so heartbreaking. Being a wife who lost her husband and at the same time being a mother who lost her daughter. It's a double kill both physically and mentally.
Hopefully, the government will help her family as her husband is the breadwinner of their household.
For those who are still alive after surviving this calamity. Let us all be thankful to God that we are saved.
When Nature strikes no one can prevent this kind of calamity. We suffered enough this year 2020 hopefully, next year we will suffer from happiness, not from sadness.
Instead of loneliness hopefully, it is joyfulness. No more deaths, more births.
No more sorrow for a better tomorrow. No more tears, let's hear laughters.
No more pains, love can only gain. No more typhoons, no more earthquakes, just loving each other, promoting peace to one another.
But let's face reality, all of these was just only and will remain a dream...
Who would not wish for a peaceful and happy life? Without any worries?...
But despite all of this I know that we remained strong for whatever trials and circumstances that will come in our way...
Rest in heaven and so sorry for them
