This is your pretty tour guide😊

leejhen ❤️

let's get in the Bus...

Welcome to Baguio City🤗🤗🤗

This is my pretty cousin Lovely 😊

Baguio City is located at The Island of Luzon. It is called the "City of Pines" but also well known as " The Summer Capital of the Philippines.

When Summer Hit the Philippines. Baguio City remained cold despite of being so hot in the Country. Because it is located 4,600 feet above sea level.

It is a Highly Urbanized City and it's province is Benguet in terms of geographical only. The City temperature is usually 7 to 8 degrees Celsius which is much cooler than the lowland area.

For the fact that Americans were the one who established the station in Baguio. It's Architectural build is visibly an American style.

The languages they commonly spoken are Ibaloi, Kankana-ey and Ifugao.

Panagbenga Festival is very well known in the City and happened every year of February. The Festival include floats that are covered mostly by a Beautiful Colorful Flowers and it's very Festive because there is a Street dancing too. There means of transportation are Jeepneys and taxi's.

Enough of some Introductions.

Let's begin the tour....

Burnham Lake is located in the middle of Burnham Park and is the most iconic Feature of the Park.

The lake is surrounded by many trees.

So pleasant to look at the beautiful green scenery.

You can enjoy it's beauty by walking and strolling or you just can simply sit and breath some fresh air while sitting under the shade of the trees.

The lake is man made and It isn't very large but enough to enjoy riding in a swan boat where most tourist do.

How nice to ride in the swan boat🤗 and do the Swan pedal boat riding. ❤️

Oh look at that! tourist are enjoying their Swan boat tour. Do you want to ride? Let's go...

Next stop over is The Baguio Botanical Garden ❤️ Oh well as my cousin as a model 😊

Botanical Garden said at one time, it is a Zoo and was named before Botanical and Zoological Garden.

It is one of the green parks of the City of Pines.

It has known for it's many names too.

Namely are:

-Igorot Village

-Imelda Park

-Centennial Park

It is full of bas relief of sculpture that is made with cement and stones symbolizing the different rituals of the Cordillera.

There are many Friendly Igorots who are willing to help and guide you. In case you are lost or you want to ask for something about the said Garden.

Botanical Garden is a home of Baguio Arts Guild that include an Art Gallery.

It is also a favorite venue for those who like to have tribal and ritual gatherings concerts and other community activities.

And of course you should have a camera to take pictures. click it there, click it here and click everywhere you like.

Just enjoy the view and make it last.

Beautiful foggy green scenery. Who would not love this place.

Botanical Garden has public available restrooms and is pet friendly.

If you are bringing children with you be sure to watch them 24hours as there are pools and waters in the surroundings they may accidentally jump. Prioritize their safety first.

Please be aware and always remember that picking of flowers are prohibited.

And for those couples in love there😊 It's a perfect and nice place to unwind relax and date romantically.

But of course so good for family gatherings too or be with your friends or even you alone.

My cousin is wearing the Female Native Igorot Costume.

The costume consist of a large rectangular clothing, about 3 to 5 feet wide and 3 to 4 feet long. It is simply worn like a skirt and secured by the waist.

Meanwhile the Male Native Costume the "bag" or "bahag".( please go back on the top pictures there is a statue there wearing the bahag.)

It is a long woven material about 10 to 15 inches wide and 3 to 5 feet long.

Let's proceeds to our last stop over.

Welcome to the Dominican Hill and Retreat House.

It is also commonly known as the Diplomat Hotel.

The Hotel was managed by Antonio Agapito "Tony" Agpaoa.

He is an entrepreneur and a famous faith healer for psychic surgery.

He suffered from a heart attack and was diagnosed with brain hemorrhage in the 1980's. And in 1987 He died from the said ailments. Since his death the Hotel was abandon.

This is what it looks like inside the Hotel.

The hotel is considered haunted by the paranormal believers because of it's history in the World War II which is very brutal.

Oh the fog is very visible and it makes the Hotel looks creepy.

It was also known as The Most Haunted Hotel In the Philippines.

The tale of the ghostly sighting and paranormal encounters has passed down from generation to the next.

And many people believe that it was haunted by the ghost in the past.

Did you have goosebumps? haha It's creepy right? But it's very beautiful.

This property is already acquired by the Local Baguio Government on April 2005 and was given a new name which is Dominican Heritage Hill and Nature Park.

So I'm gonna stop my tour in here. Hope you enjoy the view.

Let us give our special thanks to Mr. Jeff Emmer for sharing his Beautiful and amazing photos to us and also for my cousin Lovely being the model of the tour.

Thank you for the both of you😊❤️
