SALT, I rather choose it because it can help to preserve foods. Especially meat. Plus instead of sugar, you can use honey to sweeten your food.
Very well said and salt is really abundant. This thought just made me wonder bc of my youngest brother who loves so much sweets and my sister who's really into salty foods.
I' m into balance. Ofcourse I want both of them because they are really essential. But if you need to choice one. You need to choose the one that have no alternatives. 😆

In my perspective, I will go for salt. Even though both are valuable resources. Salt is very demanding and it's also very useful when cooking delicious meals at home. African recipes never leave salt bebind at all when preparing the list. Salt is my suggestion. I would prefer salt.

Why is that?
It fucks up your immune system, heart, skin, has a lot of calories so makes you fat and drains your energy, makes you tired. A lot of disadvantages 🤷♀️
Maybe that's because of too much intake
Yes, after a long time of taking it, it becomes too much intake so I avoid it completely. Not many advantages compared to the disadvantages, not worth it to me.
