At one time the Muslim vizier of Chittagong gathered a large number of troops and launched an operation against the king of Arakan. On the way, they were passing by the house of a pure "Fungi". Fungi then asked the vizier to rest and eat at his ashram. After a while, seeing the delay in cooking, the vizier sent a soldier to get the news. As soon as he entered the kitchen, he saw that the fungi had placed rice and meat in a pot on the stove, but the wood was not put in the oven. Instead, Fungi puts two feet under the pot, - flames coming out of his fingers. He said this to the vizier in amazement at this miraculous scene. Again the vizier ordered the troops to leave the place. Meanwhile, the pure-minded fungi came to greet the guests and saw that they were gone. He cursed the army and the vizier. As a result, his army was easily defeated by the Arakanese army and captured by the enemy. Arakaneshwar allowed these Mughals to marry the locals and kept them as slaves in his kingdom. These have gradually increased and become the present Chakmajati.
This rumor is not entirely true, but it may be somewhat true, that is, the main point is true, that these Chakmas may be descendants of the captive Mughals. However, this is not proven.
From 1815 to 1830, Chakmamabhupati used to take the title of "Kha" from Jamul Khan, Sermukt Khan, Serdaulat Khan, Janbox Khan, Jarbbar Khan, Tobbar Khan, Dharambaksh Khan etc. Get married. At this time, the title "BB" was also prevalent among their brides. Still the uneducated generally greet with the word "salam" and remember the name of "God" with astonishment or regret. But even then, they can never be called Mughal-born based on this rumor alone.
