Crypto is killing the planet and we are all doomed

I’m sick and tired of seeing people hype up crypto as the future of money and technology. Don’t they realize how much damage they are doing to the environment and the climate? Crypto mining and transactions use a ridiculous amount of electricity, which is mostly generated by burning fossil fuels. This adds to the greenhouse effect and global warming, which is already threatening our lives and livelihoods. Crypto mining also produces a ton of electronic waste, which contains toxic materials and metals that pollute the land and water. And don’t get me started on NFTs, which are just a waste of resources and a scam for artists and collectors. Crypto is killing the planet and we are all doomed if we don’t stop this madness.
