All human organs have cancer but why not the heart?

In addition to our fantasies about the heart as an abstract symbol of love but this organ has a remarkable significance: immunity to cancer. Straight to Bengal, even if there is cancer in other organs, the chances of getting heart cancer are very low.

But why this perseverance towards the heart? Is this extra benefit because we have the responsibility to keep our heart beating and save our lives? Not at all. The real reason is hidden in a special cell of the heart, the cardiomyocyte. Before that, let's find out what is called cell division or cell cycle.

The first thing to consider when you think about how a small baby in the mother's lap grows at birth is cell division. Through cell division, from one cell to two, two to four, four to eight grow at such a proportional rate, and that is why the appearance and every limb of a small child grows.

.This is cell division, but it is not a phenomenon. This work is done under strict surveillance. There is no need to go so far. Let's be clear. Suppose you went to the airport. And if you don't or don't go, it doesn't matter. I'm trying to explain to you. First of all, you have to prove your identity at the airport gate through various photo ID proofs. If all goes well, you will be allowed inside. This time it's your luggage verification turn. If that is correct then your second step will be completed after checking how much you weigh or if you are carrying some prohibited items. This time it is time to check the security checkin at the end of all the illegal items. Only if you can complete all these steps in a regular manner will you be allowed to board the plane. The same is true of cell division. The four stages of cell division. The first step is to prepare for the replication of the DNA in the cell. This is called G1 Face. That is, what is the episode of shopping before cooking. Then there is the real cooking episode i.e. DNA replication face. It's called S Face. During this time two new DNAs are formed from one DNA. This is followed by the G2 phase, which is the preparation phase for the overall division of the nucleus of a cell. And the last is the M face or mitotic face when the nucleus of the cell is completely divided and two new nuclei are formed. Diameter, the rest remained cytoplasm. In the end, it also divides into two new cells. Think what fun.

Speaking of the four faces G1, S, G2 and M, there is a strict guard deployed at the end of each of these faces, just like at the airport. These are called checkpoints. The job of each of them is to observe whether each cell is completing these steps correctly following all the rules.

Cells like us also make careless mistakes during dNA replication. But for that there is a very efficient proof reading system that corrects the mistakes in the cell in the blink of an eye. But what if it goes wrong? Or is it that if so much pollution, so many viral bacteria, or so many different chemicals, the cell is destroyed, the way? So will two more bad cells be born from that bad cell? Not at all. The four guards who are there will then go down to the field and when the bad cells are no longer in place for correction, he will be killed like a hanged man. This is not called necrosis. And if the cell dies due to aging, it is called apoptosis. I mean, it's like a normal death and an accidental death. But if for some reason that security system of the cell does not work then there is danger. In vain all the cells G1, S, G2 cross all the faces and split and give birth to two more bad cells. And this uncontrolled cell division is the main cause of tumors and cancer.

So, you understand how important cell cycle is in our life. The next time you feel bad, think of these millions of cells in your body. Just think how hard they are working to keep you healthy

Let's come back to the main question. Our heart cell cardiomyocytes become terminally differentiated very quickly. That is, they can no longer divide like the cells of other organs. Although they increase in size, their number usually does not increase, except in some exceptional circumstances. And this face is called G0 face. And since there is no cell cycle, there is no checkpoint. There is no problem at checkpoint and no chance of cancer.

This means there is no airport, no security, no plane and there is no possibility of plane crash. This is why cancer of other organs but heart cancer is very rare.
