Caring For Yourself.

Are you happy with what you have and what you are right now? Are you enjoying your present life? Or you're just going with the flow where life could lead you?

If you feel happy and contented, that's great! But if you feel empty, it's not too late. There are things that you can do on how to manage and improve your emotional and mental health.

As we all know emotional and mental health is the main things that we should care of. Our emotions are based on what we feel about ourselves. That's what we call "Affective domain" of ones life. Mental health is also important, it's how we can see or think about someone or something. We sometimes call it "Cognitive domain".

We should be careful on how and what we feel and think about a certain things. Is it negative? Or positive? Whatever your answer is, I strongly believe that your environment and the people around you affects a lot on how the way you feel and think.

Let me help you on how to improve and manage the way you think and feel.

There are 6 things that will help you in such matters:

1. Compliment yourself - We don't need someone or even anyone to recieve compliments. It is our life, it is our body and soul. We should be the one who can see the real beauty of ourselves. The beauty that comes from the inner side of yours. And if you already found it, it will reflect outside. You should be the first who will be proud of yourself.

2. Create a gratitude list - this one will help you on how to be positive. Make a list wherein you can see the things that you have recieved. In that way, you will realize that you are blessed enough to be empty and pathetic. This will help you on how to be thankful for everything and you will also learn how to appreciate little things.

3. Take some deep breaths - it will help you to be still and calm. Inhale the postivity, exhale the negativity. Close your eyes as you take deep breaths, free your mind from the things that will not give you peace. Imagine those people who inspires you to live, as well as your dreams, and your future. As you open your eyes; stop for awhile, look around you, and listen from your inner peace.

4. Drink more water - remember that our life is like a plant who needs water just to live and to be healthy. Water hydrates our body and mind. We cannot function well if we are dehydrated. So, we should drink more water. Just like deep breaths, imagine that what you drink is positivity, and what you pee or drain is the negativity.

5. Turn on your favorite playlist - listening to musics helps your brain to think and function well. It will also calm your feelings. Enjoy it and make it a habit, I assure you that you will never feel alone or empty even if you are only with yourself alone. You will have peace in quietness.

6. Enjoy your favorite foods and drinks - when you're already done with the 5 things above, then you're great. You achieve those level and I congratulate you with that!

This time you are going to treat yourself for that excellent things you did. Enjoy your favorites! It's your time for the rewards.

Completing this steps gives you positive thinkings and feelings, it will also calm you and give you peace from inside to outside.

When you feel that life is starting to suck the peace out of you again, always start with the step one. I believe that you can defeat that.
