What does December means to you?

For me, december marks the winding down of the year. It’s all about being together, celebrating the year, and getting ready to welcome the New year, as well as the Christmas. December is a very important month of the year, depending on how you perceive it. When ber-months has come, you can already feel the smell of Christmas, and also because of the weather that snow blankets the earth. Christmas is around the corner, with children trying to regain their spot on the nice list of the gifts they want to receive from their love ones. December also marks the end of the year and the start of a brand new one. To everyone, December means something different, something that everyone unites  and get together to celebrate a Christmas and a fresh start.

December means Christmas, were Christmas is a holiday celebrating the birth of our Jesus Christ. Christmas means remembering Jesus’ birthday, and it also means getting your whole family together and reading a Christmas story. It means to have a good time. Christmas is a time to celebrate, and it means that we have to get together. It also means to give things to people who are being nice to us and having a dinner together is great. Christmas is a time to be thankful and be happy with our family. It always feel so blessed to have such an amazing family, and giving is what it’s all about. December also means friends, anytime of the year is the time of year for friends also, but to me December really shows you who your good friends are. Your good friends will greet you on a Christmas eve, and send you a sweet message. Don’t waste your time on people who do nothing for you.

December means a fresh start. But as of pandemic we should not take for granted on how we used to celebrate every Christmas eve. We get used to go church and complete the 16 days of Misa de Gallo. We always celebrate the birthday of our Jesus Christ no matter what covid brings to us we should be always thankful for the this year is about to end that bring us full of miserables and leave a damage to us. Despite of the covid-19 that hit us this year we should be always ready. So be happy and lets celebrate the Christmas full of joy and happiness!
