This place is just like in the Baguio City where the city is home to tropical pine forests. And its colder climate owing to its high elevation where the temperature in Baguio City is about 7 to 8 °C. So before I visited this place, I was really curious of what does this place looks like. And the name of it is really obvious to know that this place has its cold weather so its better to put your jacket off before going to this place. This was just an unplanned travel because these past few weeks were cloudy days so expected that anytime will have heavy rains. From Bugo, Cagayan de Oro City to Matampa Salay, Misamis Oriental the total distance is 48.1km so probably we have a long way to ride because we are just using motorcycle. And also we are using Google Map just to know where this place is located. When we arrived in our destination it was really cold and your mind would be relax because of the cold place.
The view can beat your stress in as little as five minutes. You would probably want to stay there and would just live there because of the view and the weather. This amazing destination boasts scenic pine forest and calming cold weather, far away from the city. It is perfect for picnic, campings and etc. and is only around 2hrs away from Cagayan de Oro City. They are supposed to be open from 8:00am to 6:00pm everyday and their entrance fee is only P30.00 for adults and P15.00 for children. They also offer overnight stays for P100 each. I highly recommend this place to visit because you can really have a relaxing day with your family or with your special someone.
