Exploring Claveria Province, Misamis Oriental - and its different tourist spot - Bukid Life

Claveria is the first class municipality in the province of Misamis Oriental, Philippines according to its origin. It is also known for a lot of things and one of it is its majestic mountain ranges, a great place for trekkers to hike, seeing the country side while taking in the fresh air and it offers a scenic view. 

It is the largest in terms of land area in the most province in Misamis Oriental, the people from mindanao called it as a “mini Baguio” next to Malaybalay City in Bukidnon, because of its foggy ambiance with cold air and water and it always rain in Claveria which is good for the crops, to grow fresh and beautiful. The province of Claveria has a lot to offer, not just only with the beautiful sight seeing view along the way. There are a lot of root crops which contributes to the economy’s agricultural supplies for vegetables and other crops that most of people visited their to buy their fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers like roses. 

As an adventure lover, I already visited the province of Claveria many times which it is the home place of my partner. The first time I got there is I was really astonish because of the view, the fresh air, the surroundings you can see a lot of trees, you can see a lot of mountain ranges and others. The first tourist spot I’ve visited in Claveria is the View Deck, it is everyone to see a wonderful scenery that you can relax your mind and soul. The mountains and hills are very nice sights to everyone who's coming and dropping by to the place, and its great panoramic sight you can seen. When you go there you’ll love the place including the garden full of fresh flowers. You can buy fresh roses there for its lowest price. Everyone will be happy with its cold air, so you must ready and prepare jacket when you go there. And the Flight 387 Shrine is one of the tourist spot bordered of Claveria and Gingoog City. It is a monument dedicated to the passengers and crew of Cebu Pacifiic Air Flight 387, who died when the plane crashed in Mt. Sumagaya on February 2, 1998 and it is the 2nd worst air disaster in the Philippines in that day. The monument of the passengers and crew is located in Pryce Gardens Memorial (Oro Gardens) in Cagayan de Oro City.

And the Don Narciso Cafe, the most popular Cafe in Claveria. A perfect spot for a stopover and relaxing view of nature for motorists and tourists taking the route 955. The San Vills Cafe also has its breathtaking view that is bordered of Claveria and Gingoog route.

The very known swimming pool of Claveria is the Janopolan Nature’s Spring and Pool. The water is very cold like when you jump there you will feel freeze like you were inside the refrigerator. It has blue green color of water and also the entrance fee is affordable worth of 30 pesos as well as the cottages there has its affordable price. There are also a lot cottages you can freely choose. It also provides a relaxing atmosphere for visitors who wanna rest and enjoy a cold swim, there is no corkage on food there and they also have various cooking utensils that everyone can use. There are various falls are also available in Claveria but in this time the falls are strictly close due to pandemic. 

This place today is very known because of the riders, (my partner is one of it). Because of them many people were love to visit the place, besides of its scenic view, there are also a lot of places were you can drop by to have coffee and eat a delicious food while the view is great and relaxing. You can buy a lot of foods for your family a  “pasalubong” - Filipino tradition that means travelers bring gifts from their destination to people back home. The riders love to visit the place also because of the astonishing 955 road. Thus, if you need a place to visit and you want peace and relaxation you must visit Claveria, Misamis Oriental because above all I’d mention places there are a lot more. Give yourself time to recharge your body and relax your mind from the stresses of your hectic life.
