Japan Sinks: 2020 premiered on July 9th on Netflix. The story shows how a family deals with a catastrophic earthquake that led to Japan's archipelago to sink. They are trying to survive no matter how many challenges they face. It relates to every family member and these made the watchers cry because of their characteristics and sacrifices:
The Father (Koichiro) - he uses his survival instincts and being a dependable person for his family
The Mother (Mari) - she tries to be strong no matter what her weakness is just to make her family as strong as what she is trying.
The Daughter (Ayumu) - a teenager who is emotional at first but will correct her mistakes from her previous ones.
The Son (Go) - a young boy who is innocent from the real world that they're facing.
