Introvert Vs. Extrovert

There are several misconceptions about introverts and extroverts, one of the most common being that it's a "either-or" situation.

Either you're an extrovert or you're an introvert. The story comes to a close.

Extroversion and introversion are polar opposites on a scale. Where you lie on this spectrum is determined by how you obtain and expend energy. You can, however, fall anywhere along this spectrum, not just at one end or the other. Other says, Extroverts are outgoing, while introverts are shy.

There are a few hypotheses explaining the distinctions between introverts and extroverts, and some recent study has even suggested that our genetic composition has a lot to do with which dispositions we have. Contrary to popular belief, introversion and extroversion have nothing to do with how outgoing or timid we are. They have everything to do with where we obtain our energy.

Or, to put it another way, how we refuel our minds.

Spending time alone is how introverts (or those with introverted characteristics) recharge. They lose energy when they are in close proximity to others for long periods of time, especially in large crowds.

On the other hand, extroverts get their energy from the other people. Extroverts feel that spending lots of time alone depletes their energy.

Introverts are difficult to comprehend since it's all too easy to mistake introversion with shyness, but introverts are basically people that find being around other people exhausting.

In my case, I am a introvert person. I really don't like surrounded by many people, in short I hate crowds. Also I don't know how to socialize with others because I'm too lazy and shy to interact with them. I prefer being in small group of friends, I also think through things before I speak. And lastly, I really love spending my time alone.

So, my question for tonight is Are you also an introvert or a extrovert? Please let me know in the comments. So much appreciation for y'all!
