The first of Milan's season 20-21, at San Siro against Mihajlovic's Bologna, is decided with a one-two by Zlatan Ibrahimovic: first by a header and then by the puck.
Serbian coach Mihajlovic had prepared the match of his Bologna well, so as not to suffer badly as the last one between the two clubs which ended with a heavy defeat for the "felsinei" (Milan - Bologna 5-1), it was an aggressive Bologna with a brilliant pressing, but when Ibrahimovic decides to make a difference it becomes really difficult to stop him.
The Swede heads the first half on an assist by Theo (M) and then in the second half a resounding naivety by Orsolini (B) on Bennacer (M) just inside the area, shifting the balance between the two teams. Ibrahimovic appears from the diskette and does not fail.
Bologna does not react and loses incisiveness. A one-two from Ibra, therefore, knocks out Bologna and the championship start for coach Pioli is sweeter than ever. To conclude the first day of Serie A there are only three matches left: Benevento-Inter, Udinese-Spezia and Lazio-Atalanta (they will be played on 30th September).
Now Milan is called to the Europa League commitment on Thursday, two more challenges are still missing to secure the group stage and the next opponents will be the Norwegians of Bodo Glimt. While Bologna restarts on Monday 28 September from the Emilian derby against Parma.
