Sad story: selfishness equals incivility

One car overwhelms one person, three others batter the body, and in the end, only one motorist (the last past) feels the duty to stop. The others have solved the "problem" with a stroke of the accelerator: they flee. How could they not know whether the person hit by the car was dead or only injured? Why didn't they think that, perhaps, immediate relief could save a life? Questions that should make the consciences of the three attackers remember. Aggression is a form of violence, dictated by selfishness rather than fear. A car accident can happen to anyone. And it is precisely in such circumstances that each of us measures our degree of civilisation. Unfortunately, we live in a society of violent people, where everyone looks after himself, where values are forgotten: perhaps for fear of avoiding sanctions that would result from manslaughter. What life will the three fugitives end now? With a dead man on their conscience. Stop the road pirates!
