We all know that the regenerative sleep of the night helps us to restore our body both physically and mentally, which is why we have to be very constant and attentive to our sleeping hours. The necessary hours of sleep depend mainly on the characteristics and age of each person. Some people need more hours of sleep to feel truly rested. For children from one to three years of age, it is advisable to sleep between twelve and fourteen hours. School-age children should sleep between ten and eleven hours. Adults need seven to nine hours of rest a day. However, we often do not realise that we need an adequate number of hours to rest enough to allow our body to function at its best.

So sunbathing is good for the body and is a natural medicine for the body: exposing ourselves to sunlight (with all caution and in the right way, of course) offers us many benefits, which affect both body and mind.

ven just ten minutes a day of meditation can be a source of greater well-being. Ten minutes of meditation per day, continuous over time, regulate the heart and respiratory rate. Relaxation reduces anxiety attacks and muscle tension, thus improving the quality and quantity of sleep, strengthening the immune system, bringing energy, strength and vigour, reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases, headaches and migraines. Meditation is just that: focusing on the here and now, without anxiety, worry and superfluous thoughts. Meditating means enjoying the present moment and disciplining the mind to detach itself from its "autopilot" to contemplate what surrounds us and feel all the sensations that pass through our body in the present.
