I went out today, with Antoni, to buy fruits and vegetables. I guess my Bisaya accent is still noticeable that the fruit vendor started talking in Bisaya. Her: Pila naman ni tanan bi. (Was talking to herself about how much is total) Her: Naa kay tres? (Asked me if I have 3 PHP) Me: Tres? Kajot lang te...Antoni, naa kay tres? ( Told her to wait for a while then I asked Antoni if he has 3 PHP) Her: Ayaw nalang. Kani nalang. Sukli no kay 343? Tama? (Told me nvm with 3 PHP and asked if the change is right) Me: 157 tanan te no? (Asked if the total is 157 PHP) Antoni: Oo, sakto (confirmed she was right) Then, his eyes went big 😳, stared at the vendor, and chuckled. The vendor smiled at him. 😆 He is always late to notice that I'm talking to a fellow Bisaya. 😅
