The technical exam made me realize I'm better off doing it from scratch than reviewing and editing the works of others. π₯² I'm confident with the part 2 exam, but unfortunately, not with part 1.
Anyway, Antoni bought coffee drips from our UPD Supervisor, and guess what, she gave me a tablea! Thank you, Ma'am Sar. π«ΆπΌ
I received an email regarding the technical exam this week. This means I passed the three interviews, and now I need to pass the technical exam. Pahirapan. Gusto ko nalang maging sunflower, jusmiyo. π₯²
Anyway, I'm currently at Malate because Antoni's Aunts will arrive from France today.
It's hard, but sometimes, you need to let go. So yes, I'm selling some of my babies. π₯² I'm still contemplating if I should sell my academic/reviewer books as well.
One job interview is done. That was pretty draining since I had an initial interview last week, then a technical interview today and followed by another interview. I'll be expecting some feedback this week. I said to myself that whoever gives me a job order first, I'll say yes right away.
The very first office chair I bought was sold today. I bought it for 1,900 PHP with a shipping fee ug 480 PHP, and I sold it for 1,200 PHP only. I only used it for 3 months because boyfie bought this Sihoo Ergonomic Chair for me. I also gifted him a Musso Gaming chair. And now, I told him we should consider selling these two because it's a hassle if we transfer to Cebu and still have these chair. He was like, "That chair has a sentimental value - it's your gift. I don't want to sell it." But when I told him that I will buy another one soon or maybe he can use the Sihoo instead, he's now considering it. π
Yesterday morning, I had a mental breakdown and I felt like giving up. But after some thought, I went up and proceed with the job interviews. The second interview was the hardest one - a panel interview with the Singaporean boss. It was my first time being interviewed face-to-face by five people.
My voice cracked several times. It was indeed nerve-wracking. π₯² I want that job. I'm an electronics engineer with a childhood dream of becoming a doctor, and that position is like a bridge between ECE and Medicine.
Well, the position was good for men so I'm not getting my hopes high on that. They mentioned that it was the first time that a girl applied for that position. Too bad. But, oh well, I'm just happy that I survived an all-English panel job interview. Hence the Krispy Kreme. π
I had three interviews today - 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM. After the first interview, from Malate, I went straight to Makati for the second interview. I was late for 3 minutes because I got lost in the elevator - took the wrong one. Thankfully, the Singaporean boss had an issue with his car (got towed) so I waited for 15-20 minutes before we started. Then, I hurriedly booked a motorcycle from Joyride so I can go back to Malate for the last interview.
What a very hectic afternoon! And I'm proud of myself. *pats my shoulder*
Hello!
It's been a very long while since my last post here. I did take the time to stay out of the crypto-verse and just enjoy my stay in my hometown. I arrived last week in Manila, but I got busy looking for new work because my current work gave me a not-so-merry Christmas and a not-so-happy new year. But at the back of my mind, I'm still not ready to let go of this job.
Last night, at past 8 PM, I went to BGC to relax for a little bit. I'm troubled and disappointed with the unexpected news from the company and my coworker.
I already bought a BuJo, but the Pisces in me wants the planner so badly. Unfortunately, I only collected 7 stickers so far. I'll be going home this week and there's no Starbucks in Iligan City. π₯Ήπ₯²
My friend gave me this! And my sweet tooth is rejoicing! Teheeee! π₯Ήβ€οΈ
At last! I'm done with the requirements. I was entertained at 1:55 PM and was a wrap at 4:30 PM. I want to go to the Acienda outlet, but it's really hard to go out with menstrual cramps. Hays. So I decided to roam around SM Bacoor City for several minutes. Tomorrow, I'll be at the bank. Too many errands to do.
It's almost dinner but I still cooked pancakes for my very late snack. For the last two scoops, I added Matcha powder. Hihi
No one said to me that Automation Engineer requires strong IT skills. Oh well, I am strong. π€£
Antoni is laughing at me because I was clueless.
Him: "Programmer ka gorl?" Ambrooot.
A two-week-long overdue memory dump, but that's okay tho. Here's my very late November Memory Dump.

I had a very slow and exhausting Tuesday. BIR exhausts me, like seriously. π€ So I went to SM Bacoor before I went back home to enjoy the Christmas decorations and smell books at Booksale. π
Bought something from a boutique in SM Dasma, and look at the receipt...so clear.
I went to the mall after work to buy a phone for my grandma so she can video call her youngest sister living in Manila.
I also bought gifts for my sister and my parents. I need to buy the other two sisters and Antoni as well.
Me: What's on your wishlist?
Antoni: To become rich and for you to improve and become a software engineer. π
What a very difficult wishlist. Can't buy those two. It took me several attempts for him to give me different options:
1. PC (he wants to upgrade his PC)
2. Mac Mini
3. Timex (a luminous watch)
4. Drone
Lezgo for option 3. π
Enjoy 12.12 now, tinga next year.
Sana may bonus up to 15th month para afford ko and no to tinga. π
12.12 and no to budol.
Don't have extra money, unless the company will give the employees a bonus up to 15th month again. Hehe Sadly, because of the recession, no bonus for today's video. π
Now that I'm in Manila for 4 days, I've been walking after work for at least 5km. Can't wait to go back to Cebu and walk from here to there. π
Good afternoon!
Angel Beats Brave loop is on a loop because this girl needs to write a blog for Hive and Read and post a contest on APPICS.

Okay, one down, two to go.
The PH Director from the company I'm working with called bf. He invited bf and me (daw) for a dinner this weekend in Makati. Why? Because some higher rank eme from the company will come here in PH to discuss something.
Me: Tell him I have a webinar or a class.
BF: You're the employee, so you must come.
But I'm not ready to meet sir again. Huehue. I bet he will tell my bf to teach and guide me with this and that. Or he would say, Caryl, you didn't call me again after Mark resigned. Oh, well. I should probably enroll in the 5G Webinar this Saturday evening.
After drinking a milk tea, it's coffee with choco and milk to slightly perk me up. Yes, slightly because I might stay wide awake until morning if I drink a black coffee. π
Bf has an online Christmas Party, and the company will reimburse the food expenses. He is not a fan of pizza, but I do. So yeaaah! Nawisikan ng blessings for today's video. He only ate 3 slices, and the rest is mine. π
Just woke up. I was reading Atomic habits after eating my lunch at 1:30 PM and then I fell asleep. I missed Papa's call (at 4:30 PM) and my classmate's message asking if that certain bus will stop at PITX (at 2:16 PM).
Cooked two eggs with butter and milk and paired it with two ham and a choco drink for my late lunch.
A small celebration of a job well done, even though the work week is not yet done. π
Went to 7-Eleven to buy soap, toothpaste, and a toothbrush. While waiting for my turn at the cashier, my eyes caught a glimpse of something green, and it says Take It. So I did take it tho because Matcha is π.
Went for an early morning walk in Tagaytay. This weekend, I'm not sure where to go/hike again. Hmmm, I didn't enroll to a webinar so my Saturday morning is vacant. Or maybe I'll just go to the coffee shop and read a book. It's been forever since I last did this kind of Me time.
Just got home. I haven't had any sleep yet and I'm exhausted from all the walking and waiting. Recharging myself with these goodies as I need to work already.
Storytime...
So I went outside early in the morning with Antoni and his friend who just arrived from Cebu. We went to Tagaytay and had our breakfast there. Then, we went to the mall to buy clothes, shoes, and gifts for the wedding this weekend. Lastly, I went to the back to order two checkbooks and the waiting game was so tiring. I also went to 7-eleven to buy soap, a toothbrush, and toothpaste for Antoni's friend.
But the shocking event for today's video is to print the 22-page document to 7 copies. For long bond paper, the printing price is 8 PHP. So I decided to print 1 copy and xerox the remaining 6. And guess what, the clear xerox copy is worth 8 PHP as well. I paid a total of 1,232 PHP. Just wow!
If only I knew how expensive printing a document is, I would have not sold my printer!!! My goodness!!
Brewed and drank coffee around 10:00 PM, slept on the sofa while reading at past midnight, and then woke up at 2:00 AM. And now, I'm wide awake. π
I can't go back to sleep, so I did some chores to exhaust myself:
- Clean the CR and kitchen
- Sweep the floor
- Arrange the living room
- Clean the fan
I'm still not sleepy, so I decided to work instead. I completely forgot that sleeping for a few hours after drinking a coffee is not a good idea.
