My losses have taught met that to be successful in life, it'scrucial for some things to find their ways out of my storehouse, willingly or forcefully because without a vacuum, there won't be room to accommodate new things.

For instance, in preparation for the celebration of the New Yam Festival, the old yam from the previous harvest must be get rid of and the barn be made free to house the new year yam. This is also applicable to our growth as humans.

For Joseph to be great, he lost his father's pampering, he lost his coat of many colours, he lost his family and all he had. In essence, there were losses and vacuums to be filled. In replacement, he got the post of Prime Minister, he didn't need to search for a wife, and above all, the things and people he once lost found their ways to him.

Moses on the other hand refused to be addressed as the son of Pharo's daughter, the title that many of us desire such as being one of Dangote's or Otedola's children. Moses lost the King's inheritance the moment he renounced being called Pharoah's daughter's son and in return, he became the saviour of his people.

For Esther to be known, she lost her homeland,

She lost her parents and all she could lay claim on as the rightful owner. She lost all and gained the throne.

To find something, you must lose something. Yours may not be material possessions. You may need to prune some attitudes like tree branches.

Yours may be to disconnect some connections and free yourself totally as Moses disconnected himself from Pharaoh and reconnected himself to his real people.

Remember, no one can make it in a wrong association, so you must be rightly positioned to access greatness.

Clear your barn of the old harvest and make room for the new.
