I was so happy because I earned ₱20 from five products yesterday. It’s only a small amount, but I’m glad that I haven’t had zero commission for the past seven days. As long as I get commissions daily, it only means that people believe in me. That’s why I stay consistent in uploading affiliate videos and adding random personal videos in between. I can’t share too much yet about videos without the yellow basket since I’m still trying to learn my brand. Anyway, what worked for me in selling is voiceless videos. That's —based on my viral videos with the yellow basket from the past three years. I still show my face, but not my voice. HAHAHAHAH.

One of the things I regret is failing to diversify my savings accounts. I wasn’t wrong for saving money, since I’ve been doing that since I was a kid. However, what I failed to do was diversify where my money goes. They also say that you shouldn’t invest in stocks or anything similar if you don’t have an emergency fund yet. Right now, I’m trying to allocate ₱100 monthly to both my fiat and crypto savings accounts through my side hustles. One of my mistakes during my vacation was focusing full-time on growing my YouTube account. If I had continued being a TikTok affiliate and blogging while pursuing YouTube, I wouldn’t have drained my savings. At least I learned that the hard way. By the way, I plan to save the money I gathered from the holiday season into my savings accounts once we visit the market. Today, I was very busy working on my side hustles, and I still need to film three videos for tonight. I’ll also read blogs to increase my engagement. I’m not expecting to publish any new blog content after the article I finished a while ago.
For this afternoon, I’m going to edit my videos on TikTok. I’m glad that I’ve already cleared my outstanding debts on Shopee. Take note that I still have two pending orders, which means pending debts. I just feel relieved that I’ve finally paid most of it, and it means I won’t need to worry about missing any payments. As much as possible, I only take a loan if I really need it or if I’m going to promote the product. I just need to keep everything balanced.
Here I am today, saving myself from working on 9-5 haha. Good day guys!
I’m literally in my breakout season right now. However, I couldn’t buy my favorite skincare product yet since it’s not on sale. Maybe I just need to control the urge and wait about 10 days before checking out and paying it using my credit limit. At the moment, I’m writing a blog about our family time yesterday. I also have eight pending videos to edit for my TikTok affiliate account. Because of that, I already expect that I’ll edit and schedule those eight videos this afternoon, then film the ones that require night shooting.
After publishing it, I realized that I should have spent that time doing my other errands. Anyway, the battery of my ergonomic mouse was already fully drained. That's why I bought a set of replacement last evening without hesitation. I promised myself that I would only buy what I really need and avoid impulse purchases. Honestly, I want to restart my skincare routine. However, I’m still waiting for a sale of that specific product since its price usually drop by up to 50% during double-digit sales. I like paying for products through three-month installments on Shopee because I usually use them for more than three months. They also offer 0% interest for one- or three-month installments, which makes it more tempting. Again, we should treat our credit limit like a debit limit. We just need to be wise buyers by using the opportunity where we'll not be stressed at the end of the day.
A while ago, we went to the town proper to spend some family time. We couldn’t go to the mall because of my father’s condition. If you’ve read my blogs here, you know that my dad was diagnosed with a mild stroke. He’s still able to walk and move, but not like before. I still need to complete my personal blog, with the deadline set for tomorrow. I also hope to start my diet tomorrow since I’m already done with eating a lot this holiday season.
This morning, I was annoyed with my laggy laptop when I opened Canva for video editing. It frustrated me because the app and the laptop couldn’t process the file even though it was only 138 MB. Luckily, I managed to download some parts and decided to chop the video every three minutes from now on since it was 37 minutes long. By doing this, I could easily avoid hanging issues. I was really tired from dealing with that problem. If I had extra money to buy a new laptop, I would replace it right now. It’s been almost four years since it started serving me for productivity, and I’ve already made an ROI with this device. I plan to give it to my sibling once I find a way to replace its battery. Thankfully, I can still use this laptop smoothly for writing. The real problem only shows up during editing.
I had a very good sleep because of the cold weather. As of the moment, it’s 21 degrees, and I believe this type of weather is my peak season. I stayed in bed a bit longer to jot down some ideas for my TikTok affiliate account. So far, I’ve been getting three consistent daily sales, although they’re not that big. I’m just enjoying the process and the lessons I gain from inspecting my analytics. While I’m still not earning that much yet, I’m glad I have ways to spend a little time earning online. Today, I’m going to edit my YouTube video, and I hope it breaks my 9K views record and 474 watch hours.
Before I opened my laptop, I decided to gamify my self-improvement goals in my journal. One of the things I promised myself is that I will buy a Redmi Watch 5 and Baseus headphones. They are worth ₱3,008, and I know the price could change over time. I made sure to commit to this plan since the duration of my goal to get the Redmi Watch 5 is at least 45 days. If I don’t stay consistent, it will only slow down my progress. As for the Baseus headphones, I will only purchase them once I hit that target within April 1. I also challenged myself by setting a rule that every page I read from a book is equivalent to one peso. This is my main restriction if I plan to buy something online, and I also need to make sure that I can promote it. On top of that, I gamified my Netflix subscription depending on whether I hit one of the four areas I set as goals. That’s how I challenge myself to stay motivated, lol.

I started this day while listening to Counting Stars by OneRepublic. Its chorus screams the desire to count stars instead of counting dollars. Personally, I interpret it as financial freedom, where we’re not just living paycheck to paycheck. Instead of worrying about bills or anything else, we’re simply counting stars. Anyway, the song can be interpreted in different ways, especially in terms of religion or marriage.
It’s almost five years since I started writing here. Until now, I still remember that my first post was about the stereotype of having a favorite girl group. Then, the second one was about how I liked The Weeknd’s discography. That’s how my username was formed, since that was my initial goal for posting. It seems like my branding didn’t go as planned, because my third post was already about how I earned money online. Luckily, I didn’t stop, since I got my first visit from “TheRandomRewarder” for my experience on noise.cash. I still remember waking up at 4 a.m. to check my notification and jumping in excitement because that was the first time I earned that amount. It didn’t stop there, because I later got my big break by interacting with my virtual friends on this platform. It was a significant move, since that was when I started building connections and getting noticed by the bot more frequently. I even experienced a tougher phase before, when the bot didn’t visit me as often compared to others. Still, I didn’t stop, and I started getting visits more consistently after around 50 days, if I’m not mistaken. Although writing articles was not reward as before, I’m still grateful for the opportunity it gave me. I’m also grateful that it didn’t shut down, since this platform became the starting point of what I have today. I still can’t believe that it’s almost half a decade since I started posting. Maybe I’ll write about my full experience on my 5th anniversary here soon!
After I woke up, I was glad to see that there was a survey available. It took me a couple of days to get qualified for surveys again. Now, I’m wrapping up my blog after choosing to lie on my bed, lol.
After eight days of heavy research and proofreading, I finally finished my script. It has been a month since my last upload. Since my account is still pending monetization, it’s quite hard to publish my 35-minute K-pop–related script. I mentioned too much vulgar words that might lead me to unfortunate results. After this, I will work on editing the video, thumbnail, and description. Editing the video will take me around five days since I can only dedicate four to five hours a day to the project. For my TikTok account, I’m still hoping to find my hero product. Part of me thinks I may have already found it, but it’s not profitable since not everyone needs it. Maybe I just need to reframe the items I currently have until I get the right video. For my Hive account, I’m grateful that there are times when I receive upvotes from whales. However, I still feel undervalued because some of my posts don’t receive much reward. That’s why it’s inevitable to say that connections are a huge competitive edge on the platform. In fact, I feel like I wouldn’t even earn cents from my posts if my friends didn’t help boost them. For this week, I’m sure I won’t write as many blogs compared to the holiday season. I’m still aiming to write at least two to three blogs weekly and continue reading posts on the platform even if I don’t publish. I already have a strategy for that. It has also been a week since I last completed a survey on my favorite platform due to the limited availability of surveys. Anyway, that’s all I wanted to share, and I’m now wrapping up my New Year’s blog.
To start my day, I listened to "mirrorball" by Taylor Swift. My most favorite line from the song is: "I'm still a believer but I don't know why I've never been a natural All I do is try, try, try I'm still on that trapeze I'm still trying everything To keep you looking at me" It's currently me, trying to do trial and error. I don't know if it worked but at least I tried. But before I appreciated the song, I always love to listen on "You're On Your Own Kid" by Taylor Swift. That track was not overplayed, but I tend to play it when I feel overwhelmed. It's closing line made me in tears when I achieved something that I always dreamed for. "You're on your own, kid Yeah, you can face this You're on your own, kid You always have been"
It’s nice to see that some people appreciate your existence even if they don’t know you personally. A few weeks ago, someone commented on my YouTube account that my previous content was underrated. It only had a little over 450 views, but that support meant a lot to me. Another user from a blogging platform also commented about the lack of support that post received. They even sent me a small token as appreciation, and I know that was the only thing they could give. It’s such a heartwarming compliment when people recognize your value, even if only a few of them see it. May I get big!
Today is New Year's Eve, and my wish for this year in general is that we do things that make us happy. We shouldn't only pursue a specific job or goal because of money, peer pressure, or any other outside aspects. I wish for us to do activities because they give us self-fulfillment, and let those other "reasons" simply follow. I hope we won't label ourselves the way others label us. I thought about this because I don't want to earn money just because it's the more "practical" route. For instance, if I don't get a good earning opportunity before I graduate, my family might send me to Australia to farm. I don't want that to happen, lol! Of course, money is one of my main priorities in life now that I've finished my academic pursuits. I just hope to earn money abundantly because I love what I'm doing and I control the outcomes. That's one of my New Year's Resolutions for 2026, lol.
Currently, I'm trying to strategize my YouTube contents. I'm very careful on my contents since I don't want to get demonetized forever. I hope all my efforts will end well. Good evening, everyone!
While I was scrolling on TikTok after waking up, I became curious about the target market for two-fold or tri-fold phones. I find those features unnecessary. Yes, they look cool, but they’re not that useful to me. You can already get a bigger screen with an iPad, haha. Maybe I just don’t have the money yet. Back then, I couldn’t understand why many work-from-home employees preferred the Apple ecosystem over using different devices. Now, I own six gadgets from various brands: a smartwatch from Redmi, a smartphone from Tecno, a tablet from Apple, an ergonomic mouse from UGreen, a power bank from Rapoo, and a laptop from Asus. My current struggle is the inconvenience of transferring files from my phone to my iPad when editing. If my income becomes stable enough to support up to four people, I plan to buy a MacBook. My iPad is already seven years old, but it still works well. It just feels slower compared to newer and more powerful tablets.
I’ve been having difficulty sleeping recently, and I don’t know why. It seems like I just need to sleep consistently at 9:30 p.m. to get the best results. Right now, I’m eating leftover cake from my cousin’s 20th birthday. I consumed a lot of food there, which made it difficult to return to a calorie deficit and regular exercise. I’m sure it will be easier soon since I don’t expect any celebrations in the following months.
I have a challenge for myself that I will repurchase my Netflix subscription if: a) I earn ₱2,500 from my side hustles b) I reach 2,000 views and 500 subscribers on YouTube; or c) I get ₱1,000 commissions on TikTok I aim to achieve this from today until the last day of January. I want to start this initiative as a way to reward myself for my side hustles. Plus, starting to watch Netflix is my way of stopping myself from watching TikTok too often. Good evening, guys. Earning that amount is feasible since I already earned ₱1,100 from my side hustles this month. I just need to see if I can push my financial goal further.
A while ago, I enjoyed watching the first two episodes of the series I’m currently watching. I’m planning to continue once I finish my afternoon goals. I’m also glad that I got a three-month free trial on ChatGPT Go. Now, my main objective is to plot my upcoming TikTok videos, and I plan to rest from uploading until January 1. I’ll also write how the filming should go and outline my weekly goals. It’s such a bold move to allot specific time for both enjoyment and work.
I'm so sleepy right now. Maybe my sleeping pattern is constantly changing due to different events. However, rest assured that everything will be alright. As I promised myself, there will be no work for today. I also promise myself that I will start sleeping at 8:30 p.m. from now on.
Every Sunday, I promise myself that I'll binge-watch series without working. However, the main trade-off for this is that I should stop visiting my social media accounts. The only TikTok account I'm going to open is my affiliate account. I will also limit myself when it comes to opening Facebook. Yet, I'm planning to replace it with YouTube to watch content similar to what I am writing. Good day, everyone! As of the moment, I don't have any plans to write a blog. I'll use that time instead to continue writing for my YouTube account. We just finished eating, and I'm going to sleep early today.
Today, I don't know why I pity myself. May we get what we deserve—maybe not today, but tomorrow or another day. Good day, still!
Gemini (formerly Google Bard) is now improving in terms of features that you can get for free. Slowly, I might like it better than ChatGPT. Good day, everyone. It looks like my writing topics for this week are fully loaded. As I promised myself, I will only write if I have something significant to write about, such as celebrations or engaging topics.
Yesterday, I received a lot of money from the holiday season. I’m sure that it’s already my last since I’ll graduate next year. I’m planning to use that money to save in my digital banks. Plus, I’ll use some of it to pay my debts on Shopee, pay subscription services that help me create high-quality content, and spend for personal purposes. I promise that I will be more financially responsible and work smarter to earn more money. Good morning!
Happy holidays, everyone! All I wish for, starting today and continuing through next year, is to prosper financially, mentally, and spiritually. I also look forward to losing weight. May we all get what we want for 2026!
