Hello guys! Have you ever been checked out all the things that you want to buy on Shopee? However, have you been encountered scams by the seller before? How was the feeling? What if you concluded they were just tempting you at things you thought that you would be happy, but it's probably not? Actually, it's not related to the topic that I will discuss but honestly, I want to tell you the insanity that they messed on the Philippine history that the Filipinos would never forget. In conclusion, they made their efforts WASTED in just a contest or horribly a mistake.
WRONG GRAMMARS AHEAD!!!! Don't expect too much. Not a good storyteller.
Let's go back to the real topic. What was the dark side of Shopee that every Filipinos were never to forget?
BLACKPINK AS THEIR MAIN AMBASSADOR
Korean groups across the globe are inevitable throughout these days. Every time we will go to work, school, browse on social media or even at home, they are a phenomenon.
Some of your workmates were using their songs for their mind concentration and productivity. On the other hand, some of your schoolmates or classmates were watching their music videos to fight their boredom. Apparently, these groups are the most relevant posts that we can see on our social medias like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Lastly, we can also see them on news if they achieved something that their fans will be anticipated like Billboard, MNet Awards, and other snake awards that they won.
Furthermore, there also have some famous logos who are willing to pay them at the highest peak since they anticipated that they will have a huge impact on their company. Apparently, Korean groups are rare to please due to their limitations and restrictions on the companies handling them, and to their tight schedule in addition. They are also the main companion of every advertising companies why their brand are merely successful, and by the way, here are some of the famous ad clips here in the Philippines that I want to show for you.
BTS - Smart
BLACKPINK - Globe
I remember that I was not yet a BLINK way back then when they released it, and I could probably think that they only used BLACKPINK as their main ambassador for the sake of popularity and money with no more reasons. Yeah, you probably heard it right. That's their business strategy that they constructed but unfortunately, it turned out as their most controversial and worst strategy.
Moreover, I could say that they made a well-defined plan to make their business grow quicker. Admit it or not, all of us went glad when we heard that news. Apparently, I guess that some of you would be happy that we can now watch them on the Philippines or either on YouTube ads.
We could also say that they are popular compared to other groups, and they are the main ace of the biggest entertainment company in Korea which is the YG Entertainment. Aside from that, they are not entitled to be the biggest girl group for nothing.
I think the reason why this ad became famous and trending on all platforms especially on Twitter is because BLACKPINK announced that they will make a comeback for their anticipated 2019 comeback which is Kill This Love, or they just held their concert on the Pearl of The Orient Seas before they released it.
However, if we will talk to fan meet and greet that they organized last June 2019, it turned out as the most unforgettable dark disaster of 2019. All medias, fans, the shopping app's reputation especially the group became affected at this mistake.
Even though I didn't participate on that mentioned scam, I feel like I'm also being affected at my CO-BLINKS since I know their sacrifices just to make their dreams come true. However, it became powder in just a flame due to the fact that the app betrayed them. Also, I can say that I'm not totally feel good when I heard that news on Facebook way back then and I spent my time sharing a horrible post.
BEFORE THE MEET AND GREET
Here is the meet and greet that the Shopee announced a month before they held a meet and greeting.
This kind of serve is kind of big hype on the BLINKS community since who would not be get hype at this kind of gimmick? Imagine you will see them closely and get a free autograph coming from them with the help of an online shopping program, who would not get surprised, right?
I can't see the full mechanics on Facebook, but according to the article that I read as my basis, the top 40 spenders during the promo period could get autographs from band members Lisa, Rosé, Jennie Kim, and Jisoo at the SM Aura in Taguig City.
There have some BLINKS who did not accept this challenge since almost all of the BLINKS are broke at financial status and I belonged to them. Nevertheless, we could not deny that some of their diehard fans accepted this too good to be true opportunity since they want to spend their time with their idol in spite of every penny they will spend.
Just think that you can use their contests as your opportunities to buy a couple amount of merch then you can get a chance to win autographs. Cool, right?
However....
I will continue it in no time since I already took four minutes of reading time. Sorry for pabitin moments. Hectic schedules knocking me off.
Nakakabitin yawa 😆
