Why pay to watch YouTube when you can get paid by bittube ?

BitTube is a decentralised answer to YouTube. Except there are no ads, and it's powered by cryptocurrency.

On BitTube, all restrictions from YouTube are gone. That includes censorship and centralisation. In other words, you can post 18+ content without getting banned, and you're not shown ads.

Intact, you could even earn TUBE tokens, the official token of the platform, but more on that later.Check it out---- https://bittube.me/ref/119266

Content creators receive payments in TUBE tokens for producing and uploading videos. Viewers could also receive tokens for viewing and interracting with produced content.(sounds like a certain crypto agnostic platform!)

But to me, the best feature of this platform is the file management system put in place. This file management system is known as the Interplanetary File System or IPFS.

This protocol allows content to not be kept on centralised servers, but rather stored on a Blockchain, powered of course by TUBE tokens.

This gives total control to both the content creator and the user.

Ok. So how do users get paid? That's probably why you're here anyway.

Well, when users watch videos, the 'mine' TUBE tokens, which are paid to them. This mining process yields a fixed rate of 20% going to the viewer, while 70% goes to the creator. The remaining 10% goes to BitTube for bringing both consumer and producer together.

TUBE tokens are stored in wallets provided by the company, since BitTube runs on it's own Blockchain.

You currently can't trade TUBE tokens on many major platforms(you can only use Bittrex, Livecoin and some exchange called 'nova exchange') and while that's not entirely a bad thing, it means that you're basically putting your 'trust' in the project, and not your well being.

I've spoken about why that's a bad thing on my blog, and you should definitely check that out.

Anyway, the token is ranked number 39 on Coingecko and it currently goes for about $0.0090 on those platforms.

It's trading volume is really low at about $2000, so not very encouraging.

But I personally have a little belief in the project, which is new for me. I personally won't be buying any TUBE tokens soon, but I'd see how many I can earn for free. If it's lucrative,I might consider making videos there!

I'd probably have a little more faith if they ran the tokens on an existing strong p2p cash blockchain, e.g. an SLP token on Bitcoin Cash.

Well, I with them luck , we need more platform options.

Hmm. Looks interesting. Of course trying to take down YouTube would be like trying to fight King Kong, but I am sure it can be done.
