History of kasmir : 1

Thousand of books have been written about the Indian subcontinent and Indo-Pak history but the history of Kashmir is way older than the history of the Subcontinent. When we look at the history of Kashmir we can find the reference of rulers who have ruled the Kashmir in 3121 BC. According to history, Gonand First was the First ruler who builds an empire in Kashmir. He belongs to Naag Tribe and this tribe ruled the land of Kashmir for 85 years.

Kashmir history is full of rulers like Sultan Mehmood Ghaznavi, Arya, Mongols, Buddism, Chaks, Mughals, Ahmed Shah Abdali, and some Sikh rulers who have ruled the Kashmir.

According to Geologist Land of Kashmir was created 100 million years ago and the Tethys sea was passing from these lands. There is a theory about the lands resurfaced when the water drained from this region. According to Chinese Travelers who traveled the Kashmir in 598 Hijri, has written about the Kashmir territory which started from Raja Poori(Rajouri) Parons (Poonch) Bhimber, Arosa(Punjab, Hazara, Taxila, etc). Kashmir also remains the part of Afghan territory during the Mughal Rule.
