First aid kits can also be stored in vehicles, such as cars, motorbikes, boats, and any other vehicle that you may use regularly or frequently to ensure you are always protected from any injury or health condition that may arise on the road or when out at sea.

You'll need gauze pads, scissors for cutting clothing off an injured person and many other things, like splints for broken bones and emergency blankets for shock victims.

From fires to floods, there are many disasters that can strike without warning. A first aid kit can help you be prepared for anything and could even save a life. Here are some common disasters and the treatments you should have on hand -Bleeding: apply pressure or use pressure point on limb 

-Shock: keep the patient warm and comfortable; elevate the legs if possible. 

-Burns: remove clothing from burned area; treat as with any wound. -Fractures: immobilize joint by applying a splint; wrap bandage around splint. 

-Heat Stroke: move to a cool location, loosen clothing, and fan air towards the person.
