Didn't you know that it is God you are hurting by saying that? That is one doctrine that we should learn.
When we are experiencing hardships, let us not complain. Let us not keep saying, "This damnable life!" "This wretched house!" Why? Why do you call life damnable when it is given by God? You are alive because it is given by God, and you say, "Damnable life!" "It's all suffering, hardships, and problems!"
Didn't you know that it is God you are hurting by saying that? That is one doctrine that we should learn. God is hurt by that. He is provoked to anger. He gets angry when he hears those words from men. Let us be careful. And the remedy for that is patience.
"...that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope." (ROMA 15:4)
For example, you are having difficulty in life, instead of blaming others, just tell God what people in love say,
(music) "I will mock a thousand sorrows... If it's all because of you, it is a joy for me..."
If you can tell that to a man, the more that you should be able to tell that before God. "Even if I experience hardships, Lord, even if there are many troubles caused by our enemies, by our fellowmen, just do not leave us, and we promise that until the end, we will continue acknowledging and serving You that we have started. Just help us, Father." That's what we should bear in mind.
