Every person has a different character, as well as a different way of expressing their emotions. Anger is one of the most difficult emotions to control and it manifests in different ways in every person. Some people are more at peace with their anger, while others may vomit anger in an unexpected place because of small problems they have kept bottled up inside. Some people are known for their sudden flashes of anger like a flame of straw and then quickly extinguishing and calming down. Being at peace with anger is possible with anger management and you can improve yourself in this regard.

Anger can only be controlled consciously. To master your language, we need to give ourselves time to breathe before we speak. For example, when you feel yourself getting angry at what the other person says, count to 5 and then respond. Rest assured that the seemingly long wait is better than being offended and being in the wrong later on.

The response after you have calmed down a bit is also critical. Express your thoughts and feelings directly, without losing your temper and missing the point. Beating around the bush will not work for anyone.

Do you ever stop and take a breath as you rush from one job to another, from one meeting to another? If you can't remember the last time you were able to shut yourself away except for a much-needed break, it's time to change something. Create little moments for yourself.

If this article keeps popping up, as if sport is the answer to everything, there is a reason. Not only does it make you a happier person by increasing the release of endorphins, it also makes you physically fit, relieves tension and reduces stress levels. Therefore, anger management also becomes easier.

If you are talking about a problem and in the background you are thinking about whose fault it is, then you are on the wrong track in dealing with things and in controlling anger. Look for solutions instead of sulking or snapping, and you'll score positive points with those around you. 6. Holding a grudge Holding a grudge is a deeply affecting, all-consuming feeling. It is also great for keeping you angry and fueling sudden outbursts of anger. Try not to hold grudges, face things head-on, forgive the other person if possible and move on.

Laughter brings people together. Humor, even understated sarcasm and irony, helps you deal with unpleasant situations more easily. Don't be afraid to laugh at yourself and laugh things off. You may be interested in: The importance of having a sense of humor in life and relationships.

Rest It is important not to skip physical and mental rest. Adequate and quality sleep, a few hours spent doing things that make you happy and completely of your own accord will refresh you and cleanse you of negative emotions.

When you realize that you are directing your anger at the other person and increasing the tension, try to change the subject you use. Use "I" instead of "you" and express your own feelings instead of blaming.

If you think that when you get angry you cause material or moral damage to others that you will regret later and the above steps have not worked, I suggest you seek professional support.
