When you're at home, you'll be eaten by boredom, good thing people are smart. We always find ways to fight boredom.

First thing I noticed sa social media, people are posting food innovations. Tayong mga pinoy, ang dami nating alam. We still manage to smile kahit mahirap ang buhay, we are still able to create "bongga" meals out of our food ayuda from the government.

Later on I noticed that baking ingredients have become scarce. Walang butter, walang vanilla extract, etc., pano na little cake business ko? Baking has also become a trend kaya I tried to find ways to be able to continue kahit kulang ang mga ingredients na kailangan. So far nakahanap naman ng paraan.

Ito na ang pinakamatinding uso this pandemic. Plants.

Pots and plants are becoming pricey. People are exchanging different types of plants around the internet. They're calling themselves "plantita" and "plantito".

What does it mean?

So I browsed google and found out that "plantita" is a spanish word for small plants.

And what about plantito? Well, may nakita akong post which is sa tingin ko ay imbento lang din ng mga Pinoy. We Filipinos refer plantita and plantito as a person who grows plants. Plant - tita is a female person who grows plants from the word "tita" which means lady or auntie; Plant-tito is a male person who grows plants from the word "tito" which means man or uncle. Haha! 🤣🤣

My mother and even my aunts and cousins were crazy over plants. I don't even know the names of the plants. Mostly, they collect types of caladium and succulents. Now, they're starting to collect different types of medicinal herbs.

One time I saw a post on Facebook, "amorseko" in a pot with a price tag of Php 1,500.oo that's about $30-$35. Amorseko or crabgrass or some call it lovegrass is a type of wild grass that can be annoying when it sticks to your pants. Lol! Haha! 😂 But I think the post is intended for fun lang. It was just a joke, just to exaggerate the addiction of our mothers to plants.

People call themselves Certified Plantitos and Plantitas. How do you know if you are one? You'll know if you have a number of indoor and outdoor plants. When you wake up in the morning and first thing that comes to your mind is caring for your plants. You have different types of small and large potted plants. And most especially when you tend to have fun and that if the plants gives you happiness.

Most of our plantitos and plantitas arrange their plants based on their creative minds. They decorate it all over the house. It's their fun way of beautifying their homes.

We left home two months ago and was not able to return because of the growing number of positive Covid-19 cases. Checkpoints were re-installed so we cannot pass since we have kids. When we got the chance to pass the checkpoint, we didn't hesitate to come home at ito na nakita ko. Our terrace almost covered with plants. Naging forest na. Lol!

Here are some cute flowers from the garden.

Hanggang picture na lang kasi I'm too busy to do these things. Mas gusto kong magcraft ng planters kaysa magcollect ng plants.

Pati memes kinain na din ng sistema. Haha! Here are some memes na nakita ko sa Facebook.

The last photos you showed were so hilarious. Mangosteen, Lansones, Rambutan. 😍

Wow, andame nga, hahahah. I'm also certified plantita. Kahit sang bahay ako magpunta, panigurado na pag uwe ko may bitbit akong halaman, hahahaha.

Did you know that you can talk to your plants?

You should also try magdilig with vetsin. 1pc of vetsin, yun tig 3 pesos, halo mo sa isang maaking balde, yun pandilig mo lalo na sa flowering plants, 3x a week, super effective.
