Arguments and discussions arise since president Rodrigo Duterte already signed the Anti - Terrorism bill that was serve to protect Filipinos for a possible attack of terrorism. Some were scared thinking they might get arrested expressing their rights of opinion or speech and be considered terrorist if they fight against the government. To lessen the worries in our mind this article is tend to help us better understand "What Isn't considered a terrorism."

"The bill exempts advocacy, protest, dissent, stoppage of work, industrial or mass action, other similar exercises of civil and political rights, which are not intended to cause death or serious physical harm to a person, to endanger person's life, or to create a serious risk to public safety. "

I'm not sure what's inclusive of the bill but i don't think the bill intended to harm. It's just that people don't trust the government enough npw tp see through how it would be implemented

Yeah but it's not just the president, it's the whole government official in general because even the smallest administration unit has faults that don't bother to do anything now

Well i guess everyones really at fault. We can't really point fingers to the government without understanding their own process of resolution. One of the major problem of this society is complaining first before complying to the governments' process. This anti terrorism is one best example of it. It already stir controversies in social media because of some people who failed to do some research and educate themselves.

No, It's hard to blame the people too because as much as possible, they try to follow to the extent of their understanding at least. It's just that this bill was too sudden to be passed and with the pandemic going on, I don't think the masses even had the time to let the information of the new bill sink in much less think of looking it up for the time being. But I do agree that they could have at least looked it up first. I mean, the provisions aren't that bad compared to other countries who have a similar bill. It all comes down to implementation I think, because abuse of the bill is bound to happen somewhere

Hopefully not. That' s really one of the things that the government should monitor after implementation. It would really be scary if they abuse their authority with the use of this bill. The name of the bill itself is already scary enough for everyone. But i guess the only way to be safe is to be familiar with the bill itself.

I suppose so. Knowing it will help you in the case of abuse and so that you'll know what you can do and on what ground the supposed charge was in the case it ever happened
