Everything, everywhere is online. What we see now are all virtual. Beginning with graduation rites this year, interviews, online shopping most, online celebrations and now online classes.
Hassles but we can't do nothing about it. We have just to follow what is in stake. Anyway it's for our own future.
To be completely honest, I was a bit skeptical when signing in this course and had a few doubts. There are a few reasons for that. Firstly, as I am not a student of the Faculty of Education but a student of digital technologies, I didn’t really know anyone and I was a bit scared that I would need more background from the area of education. And although I was already part of some e-learning classes, this particular one was different, because there is no face-to-face contact with the teacher or my fellow classmates, not even once a month.
It was more comfortable and with each assignment, I grew more confident. The fact, that you can discuss the topic with everyone at any time, regardless of some schedule or a classroom, is very helpful. This is something I would not be able to do in other classes, where I don’t know anyone and there is no platform for sharing ideas or helping each other.
In general, I think online learning has its advantages and disadvantages like any other class. I think it’s great that it gives you more freedom and it’s especially great for someone who has a full-time job and does not have time to attend lectures. In this way, she/he can do all the work from home and learn from anywhere, anytime.
May next year another new normal will come up and the same trend will do again.
