In 1985, Soviet Russia tested a hydrogen bomb about 3,333 times more powerful than the atomic bombs dropped by the United States on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan in 1945.

Russia's State Nuclear Energy Corporation, Rosatom, released a video of the explosion almost 59 years later. Rosatom released the 40-minute secret video on its YouTube channel on August 21.However, it was removed shortly after publication.

According to the 40-minute documentary in the video, the 50-megaton hydrogen bomb exploded on the small island of Novaya Jemlaya in the northern ocean.

The name of the bomb in Russian is 'Jar Bomba'. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a Russian TU-95. First it is taken from the laboratory to the specified place by train line. After a few steps, it is lifted into the plane. The bomb is about 26 feet long and weighs 26 tons.
