Why Choose Writing Quality and Original Articles? First and foremost, we have to accept the fact that a lot or even a majority of users now here in RC are writing up because they want to earn. And a huge percentage of them are getting used to copy-pasting articles from other platforms, just so they could earn more. It erases the primary purpose of the site itself, for aspiring writers to come up with original and quality articles. Though I would like to understand that they need to earn given the situation right now during this pandemic, plagiarizing would eventually just make things worse for all of us. Yes, that's correct. Everyone will be affected in the end, like what if RC suddenly decided to close shop. Come to think of it, earning and producing quality content can go hand in hand. Yes! You can write original articles and earn at the same time. Remember that we have sponsors on this site that we need to please with our articles. They are the lifeblood of the site. They are the one giving us money for our product. Without them, we will not have our daily dole outs. Lastly and the most important, we need to write original articles because we want to have that sense of fulfillment. We do this because we want to be proud of what we have achieved. Writing one good article will lead to another. Because you are proud of what you do, and strive to produce more and even better stories. Stop plagiarizing guys. Lights On or Lights Off? I know what you are thinking. But sorry to tell you that this article is about being able to sleep with the lights turned on or off Aside from noise, another thing that may matter whenever you go to sleep is the light. For some reason, I want to sleep in a room filled with darkness, pitch black. It's hard for me to sleep whenever light passes through my blanket, into my eyes. And I make sure that the curtain that i buy is the one where sunlight will not be able to pass through. But there are others, especially kids and those who like watching horror movies, who want to sleep with the lights turned on. I wouldn't want to sleep with this kind of people. I understand that babies really need to sleep with lights turned on, but the teens? They would make up excuses like they can't sleep when it's dark, but the truth is, they are just afraid of it. And also, darker rooms lead to a better sleep for a person. And a good night's sleep is better for our health. One of the reason also that sleeping at night is healthier than sleeping in daytime. How about you? Are you afraid of the dark? Would you like the lights turned on or turned off?

Almost 400 Points My goal for this week, my second week in RC, is to attain a dollar a day. It was actually just yesterday that I have come to known that you have to reach 400 points to get a dollar. When my points went up to 200 points yesterday afternoon, I knew that something big is coming my way. I actually wasn't able to sleep last night because of monitoring my points. It was almost 4AM when I slept. When I woke up around 7 this morning, I quickly checked on my points again. And oh boy, it's already 395. All I needed was just 5 points to get 400, but failed to do so coz of the cut-off at 8AM. But nevertheless, it's an achievement for me. This will motivate me to write more articles that are full of sense and timely information. I need to sustain my points. I love progress. Who doesn't? By the end of this week, the remaining two days, will be a test for me to sustain or increase my earnings. Increased earnings to me means there are a lot of readers who like my articles. Tahong Yup, that's what we call it here in the Philippines. In English, it's mussels. It's one of the favorite food here that's with a shell. And I can only name a couple of dishes that is cooked with it. First off, we have the Tinolang Tahong, which is literally the same as Tinolang Manok but mussels are used instead of chicken. The other one I can think of is baked or grilled tahong. Just sprinkle grated cheese on top of it and cook it until the cheese has melted. I tried doing my own recipe before using tahong. I called it the spicy tahong. But it ended up as like the Tinolang Tahong without much of the water, and added siling labuyo to it to make it spicy hot. I used to cook it oftentimes before, but with it's price going up each year, i just do it occasionally. It was actually cheap a decade ago, like 30-45 pesos a kilo. Now, you can buy it at the same price but only for half a kilo. You have to clean it first before cooking because there are still some seeweeds in between the shells. And mind you, we use to utilize it's shell as substitute for a spoon. Aside from tahong, I don't eat other shellfoods, neither crustaceans. I do eat talangka or crablets, soaked in vinegar and garlic, but I don't eat crabs. The large one or alimango/alimasag. I'd rather eat tahong, though it may sound so interesting to male adults here. 300 Points Never have I imagined that I can get 300 points for today. And I still have a couple of hours. That means it may even go further. New challenge today is how to respond or prevent people who mark your comments as spam. I have emailed RC already about it coz it seems so unfair if users deliberately move you comments or replies to the spam folder, even though you are not doing anything nasty. Christmas 2020 So I would just like to share with you some possible scenarios when December comes and we are still in quarantine due to the pandemic. This just tickled my fancies and I hope you like it Virtual Exchange Gifts We all know that school for this year will be online, right? But the kids still need to celebrate, together with their teacher, a Christmas party. And there will be exchange gifts. Now, would it be nice if you actually have 2 sets of gifts for your monito, like plan A and plan B, wrapped in the same size of box and gift wrap. Just so in case you didn't like what you will get, you have two options on what to give. Haha. Sounds wise, right? Your monito wouldn't notice is anyway, since you both are at home, and you just have to show your gift thru the webcam. And that the gifts will just be given if the lockdowns have been lifted. Ninong and Ninang Godparents are more popular here in the Philippines than Santa, if kids will be asking for gifts. That is aside from their parents of course. Well, sorry kids. Your Ninong and Ninang will send you a message, telling you that they are in self-quarantine. And the money that they have left is for medication and the usual stuff needed for a person feeling the symptoms of the virus. Once again, they will just tell you to just wait for the next Christmas. And that is one year from now. Christmas Carols So you wanna go "karoling" every house on your neighborhood. But the problem is, you don't know who amongst your friends have good voices. Well, if you really want to get a lot of bucks on Christmas Eve, why not invite your friends who are always waiting for the "ayuda" from your local government or barangays. They are the ones more needy than the others, and they will do their best to sing their hearts out. Don't you think? How about you? Any scenarios that you would like to share, just in case the world will still be in pandemic on Christmas.

My First 200 Points It kinda surprised me when I woke up this morning. The past two days of tirelessly writing articles and comments, and at the same time getting less and less points, gave me mixed emotions. Yes, I do admit that I came to the point of quitting this service but the least that I can do was to observe. Observe what happens next, and I'll take it from there. 200 points is an achievement for me. This is the first time in 8 days that my earning shoot up to half a dollar. Little as it may seem, I see progress in everything that I do now, except of course the past two days. My goal for this week was to get a dollar, even just for a day. Though it may be unlikely, it's just enough for me seeing progress as days pass by. I hope to achieve more. Seeing articles of other users wherein they have achieved more earnings serve as my motivation. Keep up the good work that I am doing and stick with original content. For the Love of Brazo De Mercedez When I was a child, my Mom would usually take me with her to do grocery shopping. I help her carry all the goods that she buys going back home. But before we go home, we always drop by a branch of one of the popular local bakeshops that we have here in our country. First, we dine in and afterwards, we buy a whole roll of Brazo de Mercedes as "pasalubong" to my sisters. By then, I have grown to love the dessert. Decades passed and still, it is still one of my favorite cakes. And it's still being sold by the same bakeshop that we usually dine before. I'm not sure about the price back then, but the price right now is somehow appropriate. It will just cost around 300 pesos or roughly 7-8 US dollars. I love is so much that I tried baking it. But unfortunately, the white layer of thick egg white was so thin that it collapsed because of the weight of the inner core, which was made of egg yolks and milk. But it tastes good. Just like the one that we bought. It only happened once, and never happened again. If there are times that I crave for it, I will just go to the bakeshop or just have it delivered to my doorstep. I love cakes. But baking is not my cup of tea.

If Only If only I can turn back time, then I would correct every mistake that I made in my lifetime. Nevermind if I will commit another mistake again. I'll just continue correcting it, until I succeed in everything that I do. If only love was too fair, then everyone would be faithful. Love for one another is a foundation of a happy family. No broken hearts, no pain whatsoever. If only people respect each other, then there would be division amongst us. There would be no borders, no fighting, no hate and no discrimination. If only our planet was a perfect place to live in, then you won't have to search life in another. Trying to communicate with the unseen, trying to seek a place inhabitable. If only we look at others the way we look at ourselves, then we will treat each other kindly. Accept the flaws each one of us have and learn how to give and receive. But life is not perfect. Life was created for a reason. Coz if it was perfect, there won't be a need for us to ask questions. There won't be a need for us to search for our purpose. The purpose which is the reason we were created. The one that develops us as what we are right now. The purpose which we ask ourselves oftentimes. For a man to know his purpose is like wine. The better it gets old, the better it will taste. If only God created us perfectly, then there wouldn't be any reason for us to live at all.

It's the one person in the whole damn world that literally knows you better than you know yourself, right? Well actually, they don't make you a better person. You do that yourself because they inspire you. A soulmate is someone who you carry with you for the rest of your life. It is that one person who knows you but yet, he still believes in you and accepted you for who you are. Before anyone else did, or when no one else would. And no matter what happens, you'll still continue to love them...forever.
