Escaping Anxiety
If you're feeling down and anxiety attacks you, ask yourself, what's wrong with this moment? Chances are, you are just upset about something that has happened before or you're anticipating something bad will happen in the future. But ask yourself, is there really something wrong with this exact moment?
Probably not. So stop worrying!
And if there really is something wrong with this exact moment, you can do three things to fix it;
Remove yourself in such situation.
Change something.
Or accept it.
Worrying just makes emotions tiresome. Stay positive and do things that would make you happy.
Have a great day ahead!!!
Good morning everyone! I still need to get over the disappointment i got last night when i got my points frozen. Cheers to all of your earnings for today. Have fun and keep on writing!
Keep Moving
I got up early today. Actually, I didn't get to sleep continuously last out of frustration. My points got stuck at 141 since yesterday. For the past 12 hours that I have been writing articles, no points were added to me. So I kept on monitoring my points overnight.
Much to my disappointment, nothing happened. All my effort went to trash. There were really no points added to me. I was actually expecting to break my record the other day, and go on to attaining my goal which is half a dollar a day. But sad to say, I have to try again. It could be that there was a technical glitch with regards to my account.
But I have to get going. It's another day. This would serve as a challenge for me. I need to double or even triple my effort. I love challenges. And I love to overcome them. I see success in the end.
Have a good day ahead!
Im going to sleep quite disappointed. While other users had their points already updated, I'm still stuck at 141 since yesterday afternoon. I hope when I wake up, everything will be fixed. Have a heavy heart right now.
Before I sleep, I want to thank the Lord for the day that has passed. Thank you for everything. I love you and will always be faithful to you.
Pick Your Pet : Dog or Cat?
I both have those pets. One dog and 1 cat, but my place here has lots of cats roaming around the street. Sometimes, I offer them food. But if you are to choose between the two, who would you pick?
Cats are adorable and very playful when they are still young. They are also easy to manage. The problem is, they breed so fast. One day you'll be surprised that your cat is already pregnant, and about to give birth to 5-6 kittens. They are more disease resistant. That why there's a term cats' nine lives.
But I choose dogs more than cats. Dogs are more trainable. They have specials skills which a cat cannot do. And what I love most about dogs? They are so nice to sleep with. You won't be able to hug a cat for hours, do you? And most of the dogs act as guards to our house. They bark when there is someone trespassing our place.
But how about you? Are you a dog or cat lover? Feel free to send a feedback.
Thanks!
Silence again starting to envelope my surrounding. Such a nice time to develop new ideas and strategies so I can create more worthy articles, thus earning me more points
My points and my brain are both frozen!!!
Plangak!!!!
Just when you thought that gay lingo has stopped evolving, you're very wrong my dear! Through the years, or decades perhaps, gay lingo in the Philippines has significantly changed in the way it is spoken. During the 80's, yes and no was as basic as saying yes and no. But decade after decade, our young gay population has devised different methods on how to say it.
You might have heard the expression "plangak" or "plang!!" during the 90's. It just easily means "yes". Some other interpretation or ways to say it are; plangganang butas, planggacious or flang, changing the first letter from P to F. But how about the word "no"? They can just utter "wit" or some may say "dedma" or "keber". But "keber" also has a different meaning for them, it means they don't care. Other terms being used are "kebersoza" or even "carebears".
The next century unfolded and the evolution keeps going. You wouldn't really know how they came up with such terms, but you'll easily understand what they are saying with the movement or way they express it.
Nowadays, it's more classy. Yes can be "truth" or "throat" and No can be terms such as "fake news" or " was".
Below are few examples of yes and no in gay lingo. Are you familiar with them?
Yes or affirmative : go! / gora! / yesterday! / bet! / trulili / naman!
No : wititit / wirit / ex / was / nyoyaw
Have you heard of this one?
Pingas ang nguso mo pag natadyakan ko!
It's actually "ping!" for short, which means....yes!
Kamusta na kayo mag points ko? Matigas pa ba kayo?
Sandra
This is about a girl who I think has been deprived of love. The love that should have started from home, from her parents and siblings.
She's only 14, but already had countless boyfriends. It's like changing clothes. Just a few weeks, and there she is again, together with another man.
If you look at her, she looks so naive. So innocent. She doesn't hang out with boys just for fun. She's searching for something. She's searching for love.
Her mother is a housewife and father a contractual worker. Her siblings go to school just like her. But for them, going back home from school doesn't mean time to get a rest. They are scolded every now and then by their mother, have to do all chores at home. Wash the dishes, do the laundry, clean the house and everything a mother should be doing as her responsibilities.
Sandra grew up in such an environment, a place where love is insignificant. Where the only reason for living is to work, work hard.
They live in a poor community. Where everyone else is striving to make up for a living. Where money earned is just the total of a day's expenses.
Sandra is an abiding daughter to her mom. But for uncertain reasons, she's looking for love from someone else. The love her mother deprived. And as a young girl, her mind isn't mature yet to make the right decisions. She just goes with the flow.
Hopefully one day,as soon as she turns into an adult, she may find the right person who will give her utmost love that she deserves. The kind of love worthy for a hard working girl.
Just finished dinner. Scrambled eggs with slices of onion and Magic Sarap. Mas may sasarap pa ba? Tara na sa sarap!
A Message to My Mom
Hi Mom! How's everything up there? I'm very much sure that, like what you used to do before, you're singing old songs. Together with our Creator and his angels.
It's been twenty years Mom. And I still miss you. It's quite surprising that even up till now, you're always a part of my dreams. It's only through dreams that I can hug you, talk to you and find comfort during my hardships.
You know that I love you so very much. Life hasn't been the same for us since you left. I know that in time, we will be together again. And I want to assure you that when that time comes, my love for you hasn't changed...at all. Not a whiff of it.
Please guide us always and tell our Creator to bless us with His enduring love.
I love you Mom!
I miss you!
Is it really possible or allowed to write an article in full tagalog? An idea popped up inside my head regarding one story and I could better express my thoughts if I write it in Tagalog? Anybody knows?
Gosh!!! I'm feeling the freeze again!!
I can feel very much the generosity of RC today. How about you?!
Keep Writing!!!
After 7 days of reading articles here in RC, I realized that somehow, I manage to bring back my vocabulary the way it was before. I was a Call Center agent back then. And we are limited to use English language as means of communicating to each other.
I know my English is not perfect yet. I strive each day to practice the language again. As with other users, I take it one article at a time. Sometimes, I really would want to write, but the lack of idea is a big stumbling block. I need to freshen up my mind first so I can come up with new stories. But one thing is for sure, I need to continue writing. Not just so I could earn. But also to broaden my vocabulary and knowledge on how to effectively express my thoughts to the readers of each of my articles.
We need to keep on writing not just because we want to earn money. We need to do it to earn more information. More knowledge. The art of expression. What could be more fulfilling than knowing you can effectively communicate already using the English language.
Money just comes next. Without the proper tools for you to reach out to your audience by means of your article, all the more it'll be hard for you to earn. Readers need good information also. They need good to read articles.
Just finished lunch. Bought some fried chicken necks and a bottle of lechon sauce. Hope you also had your lunch. Have a greaf day ahead of us!
Is 3000 points in a day achievable? I saw a lot of articles telling how many points they got, and the most that I saw was 2100. Wish I also have that kind of effort to produce such amount of points.
Why is it that I am getting double sent comment or notification? Is this a system glitch or some users deliberately send it twice?
I'll be writing a full tagalog article later. Just thinking of an idea first. Better watch for it.
Subscribe mo ako, para subscribe din kita. Pak ganern ganern!!!
Just wrote my first article for today, and a little shocked that I got the "posting too fast" reminder again. Hahaha.
Are You Tired?
It has been a week now since I started joining RC, and boy, it really was an uphill climb. You have to do research everyday. Come up with an idea on what to write next. Aside from that, you have to respond to every notification that keeps popping up on your dashboard. Not to mention asking other users to subscribe to you. Mentally, it was somehow tiring. With all the other things you do online, you have to double your effort so can create a wonderful article to capture your audience's attention.
Whenever you get tired of doing something, what do you usually do? Rest for a while? Eat and sleep? Or are you the one who will just give up and discontinue the thing that you are doing?
We all get tired sometimes. Our mind and body has limits. Though we want to exert more energy to to finish a task, there will come a time that we have to stop and relax ourselves first.
What matters is you did what you think is the best and gave it all to accomplish everything. There will always be tomorrow. A new day ahead. Another chance for us to achieve everything that we want to achieve. There are no time limits for a person who wants to succeed. Just give it your best shot and continue the things you loving doing.
I haven't known a successful person who hasn't taken a break from all the hard work. Perseverance eventually will pay off. To be successful, one need not look at the finished product, but by the way he produced it.
Have an enlightened morning ahead of us!
Hi. Good morning. I'm only 5 days old in RC. I do hope I am welcome here. Would you mind if I ask you to subscribe, then I will subscribe back. Thanks!
My goal for today is to get as much subscribers as I can, to increase interaction and result to more points. This is aside also from creating articles, maybe 5 or more for today.
The point system has become so unreliable. It confuses me. I doubled my effort yesterday but got just a few number of points. But overnight, while I am asleep, my points doubled. What the hell is going on?
A short prayer. Lord, kahit 100pts lang, please!!! Amen!
Well, the points starting to increase now. But I'm worried I won't be able to reach my goal for today which is 150 pts. I'm now at 65. Hope everything changes tomorrow.
It's already past midnight. Time to get some sleep. I usually sleep around 3 or 4AM, but the slow progression of my points make me tired. Have a wonderful night!
