Title: He never did so it wilted

it wilted—

the flower you once
bombarded with questions 
if he was made for you 
or he wasn't... 
if he loves you or 
he doesn't... had wilted,
but the response its petals
whispered to the wind, 
and the truth its stems
had let to rode on
stayed fresh and undead, 
the answers, in your mind, 
still reverberates,

that he wasn't made for you, 
he doesn't love you,

And he never did
