I would go back in time and live life differently. I would do things differently the second time around. But that would cheapen the meaning to life, the process. We are not robots. We are humans. We have character archs. Going back and doing things all over but from a different perspective would be the same as ending a movie one minute in. It ruins the development of the individual. I'm not going to justify bad actions, perhaps. That is not what I'm saying. I'm saying that the process is what life is all about. State of the Union (SOTU) 2020 by President Trump. I would rather that we not mess with the DNA to the extent we can't totally make it work, similar to the problems you might get with GMOs, etc. I agree with you that prohibitions has created elevated black markets. I don't like white bread to the extent that it extracts things from the bread that should be there. So, I'm ok with CRISPR to the extent that it does not make things worse. If CRISPR can help, then we should utilize it as much as we can.

We can talk about Santa. We can talk about history. People can believe in what they want to believe in. When we talk about Santa, we can talk about different versions to his story and then we can talk about source materials for Saint Nick and/or others.

We can do the same thing with God by tracing back the story of the fictional and/or non-fictional character and/or creator through history. We can look at how cultures from all around the world would pass on their own version of some kind of world flood.

I will highlight one key to what you wrote: "However, just like all diseases, people vary in their susceptibility." I agree as each person can be different. Their immune system can be different. I agree that prevention can prevent the need for correction later on. People should focus more on prevention over correction for their health. In the past two hundred years or so, that paradigm reversed towards correction over prevention for many people. That is too bad. So, education is key in helping people understand some basis principles, some eternal fundamentals, to common sense.
