On September 22, YAM finance provided details on its development focus for the near future, after having relaunched its platform in the wake of a critical bug that halted the original version.
Saying that the relaunch of YAM was “to largely replicate the initial YAM parameters” for the purpose of expediting governance and auditing
Most parameters remain the same from V1, but the rebasing period has increased to 12 hours
Four areas of development have been highlighted including protocol optimization, treasury management, organization needs, and interface and usability
Specific tasks include liquidity incentives, yield-bearing strategies, an on-chain governance interface, Uniswap routing and ecosystem growth
YAM co-founder Trent Elmore said that it would ultimately be up to the community members to decide what challenges and opportunities to tackle first
The new YAMv3 token is currently valued at ~$3
