RHEMA FOR LIVING OFM, DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FROM THE DESK OF GOD'S ORACLE APOSTLE (PROF.) JOHNSON SULEMAN.
BIBLE READING: PSALM 76-78.
TOPIC: PRAISE MORE AND MORE.
TEXT: "But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more." Psalms 71:14.
The aim of terrible circumstances and challenges of live is to stop your praise to God, but as a believer your response to them is to continually trust in God and yet praise Him. The Bible records of Abraham, our father of faith saying, "... Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be....He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God". (Romans 4:18, 20). Despite the circumstance on ground, he kept hoping in God to become what God has said and kept giving glory to God until he became his expectation.
Child of God, what is that circumstance that you have allowed to choke up your praise? What is that situation that you have allowed to become a god to you, dictating your mood and countenance? Understand that whatever stops your praise, dictates your life. Therefore if you want to come out of that unpleasant situation, connect to God by praising Him continually because He, being unchanging God can change every ugly situation to good. Keep hoping in his promise and praise Him for that which He has done and for that which He is set to do in your life. As you praise more and more, you increase the propensity of becoming your expectation.
Make a resolution today, to always increase your praise capacity to God at all-time even in the midst of trouble because God never fails.
PRAYER:
My Father, My Father, as I begin to pray, whatever is out to stop my praise, I consume it by fire.
