Who owns the truth?

I would like to begin by answering immediately by saying that no one is the owner of the truth, we are all seekers of it, and in this search, we come to discover it in some of its facets or dimensions.

I wanted to begin with this categorical answer, since one of the attitudes of people that bothers me most is that they believe they are masters and lords of the truth, whatever it may be. Now, what does philosophy tell us?

According to philosophy, truth manifests itself in all its splendor when intelligence is adapted to reality, and this is where the problems begin, since the human intellect is limited, often errs and, therefore, is perfectible.

In fact, if this were not so, there would be no possibility of scientific progress, and if the human being could understand everything, that dynamic touch of life would be lost, which would take away its meaning, since life is dynamic, we can always discover new things.

- To be humble before things that we do not understand because their truth surpasses us, in the same way, to accept that sometimes we are wrong, that is to say, that we make mistakes, many times born of not understanding a reality.

- Respect the points of view of the person, because, even on the religious level, there can be only one God, but each one has a way of understanding him, of relating to him and of living his faith.

- Let us be healthily curious, for there are always mysterious areas of things and people that we do not yet know, and keeping ourselves open to them keeps us alive.
