Lakers Crowned as 2019-2020 NBA Champion!
It's official! Los Angeles Lakers are now back as NBA Champion after demolishing Miami Heat in their best of seven series at Game 6 winning at 4-2 lead. With this win, the Lakers and Boston Celtics are now tied in most garnered NBA Titles at 17!
Your Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP), the Going on Another Team (GOAT) LeBron James capitalized another stats of 28 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. James is now the 2nd player in NBA to atleast 4th Regular Season and Finals MVP behind "one and only GREATEST OF ALL TIME" Michael Jordan!
Also, as a GOAT, he won three (3) NBA Titles in different teams: Miami Heat (2012-2013), Cleveland Cavaliers (2016), and the recent in Los Angeles Lakers uniform. That's a lot of hopping teams after team! I don't know if James want to chase Michael "true Greatest of All Time (GOAT)" Jordan's greatness. Well, it will be a lot of debate folks! I will not mention it for you to deduce what are those! Two words: recruiting and calling NBA referees!
The other snake (third actually - 1st LeBron, 2nd Kevin Durant) Anthony "the Brow" Davis grabbed double double with his 19 points and monster 15 rebounds is now an NBA Champion after James and Lakers recruitment agency pirated Davis out of New Orleans Pelicans!
The new GOAT behind White Mamba Brian Scalabrine, non other than Alex "Baldy" Caruso is one of the main reason why James earned his 4th NBA title!
Caruso with 33 minutes presence on the floor gave Miami Heat a unending flow of sweat after being called as starter ahead this Game 6! Imagine, the 2nd player resembles Scalabrine played 4 pts, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds is enough for opposing team to devise a plan against him! What a fu*king legend!
Of course, our favourite point guard Rajon "Chris Paul" Rondo stole the spotlight as the 1st player to win an NBA Title as player of rivals teams Boston Celtics (2008 against Lakers with late NBA superstar Kobe "Black Mamba" Bryant) and Los Angeles Lakers (2019-2020) since 1964!
"Chris Paul" is the 2nd player after Clyde Lovellette who won his first championship with George Mikan and the Minneapolis Lakers in 1954, and then won two more alongside Bill Russell on the Celtics in 1963 and 1964! Yeah, his presence was felt after giving off 19 big points of the bench!
At last, JR "HennyThing" Smith (former Cavs) and Javale "Bench Driller" McGee (former GSW) are now back as NBA Champions without breaking a sweat! Wow! Just like a grade schooler who pass the exam even though his absent! Legends!
Miami Heat was not expecting the change of starters of Lakers squad ahead this Game6. As mentioned above, Alex "2nd Scalabrine" Caruso was a really threat in Miami's game plan! If you watched the game, you will notice the type of defense was a way too different! All hail Caruso!
After 4 games absence on the floor due to injury gained on Game 1, Goran Dragic came off as bench but just tallied 5 points. His teammates who also suffered an injury in opening meeting with Lakers, Bam Adebayo bagged 25 big points and 10 boards!
However, it was not enough to cover Jimmy Butler's quiet performance of 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. The 20-year old young gun Tyler Herro joined Duncan "bootleg Arjo Atayde of Philippines" with 7 points and 10 points each respectively. Too bad first quarter stint of Lakers kill the Miami's hope to halt Lakers celebration.
