pump castings
used for various purposes throughout society. Early applications included pumping water using windmills or waterwheels. Today, pumps are used in irrigation, water supply, gasoline supply, air conditioning systems, refrigeration (often called compressors), chemical delivery, sewage delivery, flood control, marine services, and more.
Due to their wide variety of applications, pumps come in many shapes and sizes: from very large to very small, from handling gases to handling liquids, from high pressure to low pressure, from large volumes to small volumes. Therefore, pumps can be divided into different types according to their use. Such as water pumps, vacuum pumps, garbage pumps, hydraulic pumps, sewage pumps, etc.
We can manufacture pump castings in the following processes:
Silica Sol Casting for Pump Castings: As with valve castings, when pump castings are designed in stainless steel, silica sol casting will be preferred due to their smooth surfaces and tight tolerances. This process will help you reduce machining work and achieve uniform net shape castings.
Sand casting: For iron materials, pump castings can consider sand casting. The advantages of sand casting are low cost and good internal quality. Compared with investment casting, more machining allowance is required.
Die-casting aluminum: For pump parts such as mounting brackets, the die-casting process is suitable for its thin wall thickness and special aluminum alloy materials. High strength can be achieved after die-casting, and the quality is perfect.
