Alden Richards sent a sweet video greeting to Maine Mendoza as she marked her fifth year in show business, sending Kapusos some major "Aldub" feels this weekend.

Maine reacted to Alden's clip in an interview aired on "24 Oras."

After a cute a joke, Alden told Maine how grateful he was to have worked with her over the past few years.

"Maine, gulat ka noh? Akala mo kung sino. 'Di, joke lang. Happy, happy 5th anniversary sa showbiz," he said.

"Sobrang tine-treasure ko lahat ng mga pinagsamahan at pinagdaanan natin throughout these years. Through the ups and downs, good and bad, happy, sad — sobrang saya ko," he added.

Maine, shown in the other box, can be seen laughing and smiling throughout the video.

On Twitter, the Phenomenal Star thanked everybody who remembered her anniversary.

"Grabe ang bilis ng panahon!" She exclaimed, before making a signature Maine Mendoza joke: "Salamat sa mga nagmahal, nagmamahal, at patuloy na magmamahal. Gasolina ka ghorl?!"

"Salamat sa limang taon!" She added.

Maine made her first-ever TV appearance on "Eat Bulaga" on July 4, 2015.

Her on-screen chemistry with Alden as "Yaya Dub," coupled with her hilarious rapport with "Lola Nidora" Wally Bayola and the rest of the Dabarkads on the noontime show, became the nationwide phenomenon known as the "Kalyeserye."

Since the "Aldub" craze, Maine has bagged several endorsements and starred in several hit movies like "Imagine You and Me" and TV shows like "Daddy's Gurl" on GMA-7. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
