BTS stars Jimin and Suga shared how they have turned to exercise to make sure they looked after their mental health over the last year. The South Korean boy group appeared on The One Show where they were interviewed by Ronan Keating – who knows a thing or two about being in a popular boy group – and a lucky handful of fans who got to ask them a question. One ARMY wanted to know how they had taken care of their mental health during the global pandemic.
She said: ‘I was just wondering after this really hard year everyone’s had, how have you guys taken care of your mental health?’ Singer Jimin and rapper Suga credited running to ‘improve their mood’.
Jimin replied: ‘Working out…after you go for a run and sweat, your mood gets better and you sleep better.’
Suga added: ‘I recently got into exercising and it helps to relieve stress.’ Answering a question about habits they’ve picked up from each other over the years, J-Hope replied his was ‘eating too fast’ to make sure he got to grab some food before the members ate it all.
Ronan gave a knowing laugh and added: ‘That’s the problem, it’s a big band!’
The seven member group are promoting their new single Butter which they performed for the first time at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night.
